RETRO 10/17/92 Fright Fest Debuts for the First Time

Now before Fright Fest, didn't Great Adventure used to have Octoberfest or some other Halloween/fall type theme? Or did they do both in various years?

The park’s first Halloween event was in the late ‘70s and then again in the late ‘80s called Halloweekends.  They also had Oktoberfest for a few years.
