Pedro Parrot
PEDRO PARROT is our Spanish accented "pretty bird". He refuses to say, "Pedro wants a cracker!", even though he loves his crackers and bird seed. Pedro loves to be grounded, and would rather not fly. He is a lackadaisical character who likes to talk about taking siestas, but doesn't actually take one until break time. Sometimes he tries to get excited and get in on the action, but he is used to his laid-back lifestyle and gets easily exhausted. He makes excuses to everyone for his laziness.

It did play on NY stations. I remember seeing it as a kid. I believe there is another version where she is riding the Flying Wave at the end.

What an incredible find. I don’t ever recall seeing this commercial as a ten year-old kid. Anyone that was any kind of GA fan would have instantly recognized the park as Great Adventure. The park’s name is really only legible on the one child’s hat and much less so on their T-Shirts. I wonder if it played in the NY TV market.

It was in McCall's Magazine which makes sense being the Pritzker family was tied to both the publication and the park.
