It is learned in 1981 that Warner LeRoy is a member of an investment group submitting plans to develop a portion of Liberty State Park.  Here, an Asbury Park Press reporter makes no mention of a theme park as part of the plans, but largely commercial development and some form of housing.  Opposition groups indicate their displeasure with the plan and Warner LeRoy.
