With Time-Warner now in-charge of the Six Flags parks, Great Adventure (the company's largest park in acreage) operates in the country's largest metropolitan areas and, at the time, was the only park with a drive-thru safari.  Time-Warner took advantage of all of the promotional opportunities  the safari brought to the property and sought to use it to build goodwill with the public.
