GAcoaster
Add an On-Site Hotel
GAcoaster
This has been our wish for years now, and it still is something we'd love to see happen. Many parks similar in scale to Great Adventure run by other operators have added hotels successfully in recent years through partnerships, there's no reason why Six Flags couldn't do the same.
Yoshi
It amazes me that with how big of a park Great Adventure is that there are no hotels close to the park. If there was an on-site hotel, I would have stayed there and gone to the park 2 days in a row a few times over the last 4 years rather than drive 5 hours round trip for just 1 day at the park. I Have No Name
Yeah, the times I've stayed overnight while going to Great Adventure, I've stayed at a hotel 12 miles away. Now if they did build a hotel on site, would they just carve out a chunk of the parking lot?
The Master
Until COVID 19 is resolved, an onsite hotel is not practical with restricted capacity.
Coaster Justin
I find it odd that Great Escape has a hotel before Great Adventure
ericthewanderer
Great Adv. should definitely get a hotel-either have an outside operator do it or do like Carowinds and buy into a franchise. If possible they should have a hotel that has an extra bonus for guests only like Great Wolf Lodge's waterpark or an aquarium. Medusa42
This seems like a good spot for a hotel.
GAcoaster
That's where I always thought it should go. That way it's easily accessible all year long.

29yrswithaGApass
I wonder how much of a “done deal” this is?
Medusa42
Not sure, but here is the now dead proposal for Discovery Kingdom. The PDF below is 364 pages long and might take awhile to load. https://www.solanocounty.com/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=32501
