Dont know if we will see this happen. Six Flags orders stuff in bulk. GA exclusives not so much. And the man who was doing his best to make it our park is long gone.

Shame really no attempt was made ro restore it.

Having worked the log flume that first year it was tricky. But when it worked correctly it was fantastic! How ever we would get power drains on the system. and the pumps would slow down or shut off. And all the stop dams on chut and spill way would come up backing up all the logs behind both. and lift one. Taking an hour to evca. and another to get it back up and running. Lots of fun!

But if its what needs to be done then its better the no opening at all! Disney and others do it for special events. And it will work. They may only open from say 11am to 7pm each day. but its better then nothing.

Great Up dates. Now on a side not. So much for it runs thru the forest were the rivers once flowed. the once thick wooded area is now just another six flags roller coaster hole.

This is a great chance for the park to fill in a lot of blanks. With a any kids flats being removed. They dont really need to be in one spot. spreed them here and there.

Yep thats them. And hes also purchased a few others locally. Their sitting in storage on porperty.

It was anounced last week that all permits and rezoning have been done. And Waterloo Iowa is getting a 100 million dollar theme park. The owners of Lost Island Water Park which was voted No.2 in the country by USA Today Travel. They also own the Lost Island KOA Camp grounds. As i get more details Ill keep you posted. Good news for me I live 10 mins. away!

Shame a lot of it got scraped. Parts of it could have been used for Man and Machine. And use the I-max in the Empty Theater .

Ok 29yrs you first with a park hopper is one park at a time for the cheapest and no rentry, un less you want to use another swipe. In other eords one park aat a time. Then you have the next which is unlimited hopping. And most would go broke, buying them for a family of 4. Now GA for Mickeys Not So Scary and Christmas. Yes they close the park. at 5pm and reopen at 7pm. And even reosrt quests must have a seperate hard ticket for thses. Belive me worked MK guest relations and it was a mess.

Agreed. But the numbers only reflect the turnstile counts. Not the actual cash day only. Which MM gets more. So the cash intake for there is more then GA. And I think alot has to do with Season Passes. Before them we were the third most visited theme park. And made money every year. Now dont hate. just a fact. I also belive that Holloween, and Holiday in the Park. Should not be included in the passes.

We did that back in 74 and 75 when the water was higher. Not to mention we had more logs on it. And we ran all the pumps and the logs never bottomed. Six decided to lower it and not use all pumps(safety). But I think it causes more wear and tear on the attraction!
