  1. ^ Nice job Andrew!

ANSWER: The correct order of the weather related phenomena according to when they FIRST impacted Great Adventure is as follows:

    C. Rainbow (1976- rainbow logo)

    B. Lightning (1978- Lightnin' Loops)

    A. Thunder (1979- Rolling Thunder)

    E. Typhoon (1991- Typhoon, the name given to the Rotor ride)

    F. Twister (1999- Twister)

    D. Hurricane (2000- Hurricane Harbor)

Um... according to RCDB, Lil Thunder was in the park 4 years before Rolling Thunder.

  2. QUESTION #326: Put these weather related phenomena in the order of which they FIRST impacted Great Adventure:

    A. Thunder

    B. Lightning

    C. Rainbow

    D. Hurricane

    E. Typhoon

    F. Twister

Each of the items listed refers to something in Great Adventure's history (Rolling THUNDER, LIGHTNIN' Loops, RAINBOW logo, etc). Put these in chronological order.

    Ah. My mistake. Thanks for the clear up! A, C, B, F, D, E

  3. QUESTION #326: Put these weather related phenomena in the order of which they FIRST impacted Great Adventure:

    A. Thunder

    B. Lightning

    C. Rainbow

    D. Hurricane

    E. Typhoon

    F. Twister

I'm confused. Is it the order in which it goes to shut down rides, or the order they caused damage to the park?

  4. Thanks man! I look forward to this! :D

    Oh, a challenge for ya.

When I was lead in 07, my crew and I used to hit around 850-900 (sometimes more! 1K is our record) an hour. I don't know if you guys had a ton of rule changed since then (most likely) but see how much you can get (being safe of course) :D

If you have any questions about the Bat, hit me up via PM.

  5. That's my baby. :D

Of all the rides I worked while at Six Flags (and let me tell you, it's got to the point over 2 and a half years where it's easier for me to tell you what I DIDN'T work), being the lead of Batman was the most fun I ever had. Ever.

  6. I personally don't like the idea of losing Medusa, but compared to the rest of the coaster collection, it makes sense! Medusa just isn't as popular as it was back in the early 2000s. With other B&Ms in the park that do different things, Medusa is just dull. I'm sure the general public doesn't even notice a difference between Green Lantern and Medusa except for the fact that one stands up! Also, if anyone remembers, Medusa's last year as "Medusa," the ride didn't open till noon because it wasn't drawing enough crowds. Medusa being transformed into Bizarro was its last leg at life. Because of Medusa's location, I'm sure if the park got rid of it, most guests wouldnt even notice that something is missing.

As for Superman, yes I would preffer to see that go. However, Superman draws crowds and is still popular amongst the general public.

Keep in mind, this is all just speculation.

    -Dainan

Fair enough, but you can't tell me if Medusa and Superman were to switch locations then it would be Superman on the potential chopping block and not Medusa.

There is only one reason that Superman draws more crowds. I said it before and I'll say it again.

It's a gimmick coaster, but sadly, it's the gimmicks that keep people comming back

Medusa has a better track record then Superman maintenance wise and for that reason alone it should stay. It makes more sense to me that keeps drawing some kind of crowds and doesn't break down then something that is a mechanical nightmare. This is of course if the two were to go head to head.... which won't happen. Also, I do agree to a point where most guests wouldn't notice, because the year it re-opened as Bizarro, I can't even begin to tell you how many people thought it was something brand new.

  7. And as for a new flat on the teepee site - the only thing I want to see in that spot is a new teepee.

For the love of all things holy, THIS

As for Superman, it's a mediocre ride compared to the rest in the park. If memory serves me right, the nearest flying coaster to it is in Six Flags America, but even then it's not a big deal. It's a gimmick coaster, but sadly, it's the gimmicks that keep people comming back and causes it to have lines while something like GASM didnt. Now, I hated GASM with a passion, but I liked it more then Superman.

  8. I loved Batwing. I would rather them add Joker's Jinx for rotation, but they can't because Fiesta Texas put their Premier LIM up already....That is if this all is true, which I hope it isn't.

I feel like another launch coaster would be bad for the SFGA menagerie, looking at past records with Kingda Ka and Chiller.

  9. Six Flags America can't get ride of Batwing. They need to get better coasters before they can take out their best one. Iron Wolf just doesn't cut it.

    <_<

The only thing I remember about Batwing is how it messed up my shoulder and I had to put ice on it for 3 days afterwards. Six Flags America was not a memorable park at all... and looking at the possible list a few posts up, I don't see how any of those would be a suitable replacement for Bizarro.

  10. If any roller coaster was going to leave the park for rotation, I would have guessed Bizarro. Since it is the worlds first floorless coaster, I think that it needs to stay at its orginal park. Personally I dont like the ride rotation program. I dont think that the parks should remove rides that you got used to being there for such a long time and replace them with another ride, expecially a used ride like Green Lantern. Sure another park may like to have Bizarro, but it belongs to Great Adventure. Besides we have Chiller up for sale, cant that be sent away instead of Bizarro. It is listed as "working."

Because Chiller is a nightmare.... it's been sitting in that field since 2008/09 and it has so many issues, I don't see who would WANT to buy it.

Even though I'm not going to the park anymore for various reasons, I would be rather upset if Bizarro/Medusa did go out. Dead end or not, it's still one of the better rides SFGA has, and it's easily forgotten about or overshadowded by rides like Superman: Ultimate Flight which is "meh" compared to Bizarro. It just makes you wonder whatelse will be on the chopping block soon.

  11. I miss Beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....but Kings Island was very awesome. Sleeping is not all I am good for, as if it wasn't for me we would not have had the GPS.

I have to say, getting the Platinum Pass was totally worth it, as it saved us a lot of money on parking/admission.

Arrow causes me lots of pain. Scream Machine, Vortex, Corkscrew, they all hurt.

  12. Yeah, for someone who knocks GA as much as he does, Walter upgraded his pass and can't stay away...

Aye, I did. However the reason I did was because I got a 3 Park for $90. I would NEVER pay full price for it, not a chance in hell.
