At this point I wish that I could just get a refund for my 2020 season pass. They seem to be doing a terrible job at enforcing social distancing and maks wearing to the point where I think I'll just avoid going to the park until next year. Basically gonna be wasted money.
Same 4 passes and food plans all going down the toilet. My wife and I will not be taking our kids this year

Has an end date for the safari been posted? When we drove through, I think a sign said late June. Was wondering if this has been pushed yet

It is great to see that after all these years the Safari is still as popular as ever, whether it's the long lines in the park for the Safari Off Road Adventure or the huge lineup of cars waiting to drive thru. Hopefully this will keep the Safari "safe" for many years to come.
Have there been rumors it's on the chopping block?

We went today, and it was great to drive through again!! Our reservations were at 3, and we had a BLAST. My *only* complaint was the staff was trying to break everyone into two lanes of traffic at each of the checkpoints...and then everyone went back to 1 lane and then you had those who would weave from one side to another holding up traffic. One car was REALLY bad-almost hit me and the car in front of me, and the staff actually pulled them aside twice, and then finally escorted them the rest of the way out. I had to laugh and could only think that the folks never drove through the old safari lol.
My kids had an up close biology lesson with the giraffes, and my oldest some got a few really good photos through the dirty windows.
What time did you get in with the 3 pm reservation and how long were you there? We have the same tomorrow and everything I have read is saying it was hours to get in.

I too would like to know what they plan on doing. 3 season passes, 1 membership and 4 food packages. Totally throwing the money away for this year

Awesome! I assume they’ll start construction hopefully within the next month (fingers crossed!)
Not awesome for those with young kids

I think one thread is enough.
It looks like just two rides will have to be removed from LTSP for this and (hopefully) relocated.
I find it interesting they said JD will open "summer" 2020. I guess they've given up on advertising "spring" for any new attractions...
Which two rides?

Any idea which kid's rides will be removed or relocated?

Curious. How has attendance been for Holiday in the Park? Been a very cold few weeks.
-
Does anybody see the extra perks on their account? I don't see any in the app.

I have a membership for my son of 3.50 a month. Am I required to upgrade?

Air Jumbo- Raja's Rawshaws has been removed
Swashbuckler- another park did this
Rapids- Six Flags has been gutting their non-water park water rides recently. This move will make them more money as more people will go to HH
Skyride- parks are starting to remove them after the Great Escape incident, might as well (does leave a whole in the fort, could put a haunt attraction in it)
What parks are removing skyrides?

Mine is for SFNE but yes. It was included in the new ride announcement email that was sent out Thursday afternoon. I would think that GA did something similar.
Well that could be it. I never got any email. Checked spam folder and nothing. What did the offer consist of? I was going to order now. Should I wait for the email?

Any current pass holders get a special code for the labor day sale? Saw that we should but I never received.

How have the lines been for justice league?
-
Was it very cold there? Debating taking my 5 year old and 1 year old tomorrow?
-
Does the park rent or provide them? If so, how much? My wife is 32 weeks pregnant and has some complications where she can't walk that much. However we would like to take our son. Does anybody know? Thanks

Dining pass is working? Storybook land has been my favorite in this area over Hershey and sesame. Can't wait

What about the Roadrunner Railway? That ride causes headbanging and bruises as it's a kids coaster.
Took my three year old on it yesterday. Really is a rough ride.

From what I have observed, it seems six flags has very few dark rides in the chain. Justice league seems to be a good step. Any reason these have been avoided? Is the cost high? I feel dark rides are a great family experience that would add much to any park.

On Sept 3rd they are doing a really good 1 day sale on 2016 Season Passes. May be as cheap as the 2 week's before Christmas 1 day sale they have done before.
Any idea of the price?

Found it enjoyable yesterday. Mine and all other kids seemed thoroughly happy
SFGA Season Pass Changes
in The Park Today
Posted
This news disappoints me and I may not be renewing my 3 passes. I do not like paying monthly bills and adding to my credit card each month.
Also the crowd this past season has become much different. It has been very rough and my family and I have had several encounters. When this happened staff did not care and looked the other way .
Unfortunately the park is changing.
