How are the lines for the season pass holder event? I'd imagine a lot of guests have season passes, but it sounds like everyone who has ridden JDC got several re-rides in.

We are here now, and there's a decent amount of people here. (More than I was expecting!)

Haven't been over to JDC yet though.

  2. I'm just curious if anyone has gone yet. Tomorrow is the last day of our vacation, and I'm seriously debating on going.

We've been hunkered down since the end of March, and have only gone out for groceries and work. (And our trip to the safari lol) On one hand, I'm afraid to; and on the other I think we'd be on due to all the precautions.

And, does anyone know how the "upgrade" for the memberships work? We are currently platinum, and *should* be upgraded to diamond due to the closures and not cancelling our memberships. Is it automatic?

  3. We went today, and it was great to drive through again!! Our reservations were at 3, and we had a BLAST. My *only* complaint was the staff was trying to break everyone into two lanes of traffic at each of the checkpoints...and then everyone went back to 1 lane and then you had those who would weave from one side to another holding up traffic. One car was REALLY bad-almost hit me and the car in front of me, and the staff actually pulled them aside twice, and then finally escorted them the rest of the way out. I had to laugh and could only think that the folks never drove through the old safari lol.

My kids had an up close biology lesson with the giraffes, and my oldest some got a few really good photos through the dirty windows.

I got the same one but I thought  it was more about long hair on men. it had lots of example pictures with men with buns and different styles of pony tales.

My survery ended abruptly after I said the guy with the dreads in a ponytail didn't bother me.

I'm only concerned about hair; male or female; if they are in food service. (Follow the guidelines-hair net, pulled back, etc) Otherwise, don't really care.

Don't worry, its not broken..  It's because the asphalt was getting to sticky, so there fixing that.. And if you saw a crane there, which I did, they are just checking it out while they fix the asphalt. I know this because I asked I would say at least 13 park employees.. Some security, just the main staff, and the flash pass people told me. Although I had one than more source inform me about the situation, there just employees and not "why Wonder Woman : Lasso of Truth at SFGADV has its walls and cranes around it" experts. That is what they told me.. And also considering the fact that more than 10 employees told me the same thing,

I *still* have sticky asphalt on the bottom of my sneakers from our trip on Saturday. It was really really bad. I'm glad they are fixing it.

June 28th is the "Calypso Springs Launch Party" / Member Appreciation Event.

The description says "Be the first to relax and enjoy the all new Calypso Springs with exclusive access before it's open to the public! Enjoy specialty beverages and collect your Calypso Springs pin."

That's fast approaching, and they haven't created the Facebook event or released the schedule yet, so we'll see if that's still on track.

    Thanks!

That is a path from the front gate to the Safari. It’s needed because there’s no easy way to tell guests how to get there given how many dead ends and roadblocks we have in the park

    Thank you!

Exclusive character meet-n-greets? You mean will there be return of DC Comics Superheroes characters to the park such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Supergirl, the Flash and Green Lantern?

We are here, and so far it's cosplayers from the Comic event.

I would change the name of Bizarro to Copperhead, and re-theme it to fit the western motif of the surrounding area.  Replace the buildings in the middle of the coaster with some frontier-style buildings, and maybe add some giant cacti for the coaster to shoot past.  Change the track color to earth tones, similar to a copperhead snake, and give the cars a snakeskin pattern paint job.

That's basically what the old coaster Viper and it's queue looked like. Check out the photos on the rollercoaster page.
