While it was running a bit slower as it was cold and only the second day of the season, it definitely felt a ton smoother in the turnaround and the twister sections, like significantly
HITP in the freezing cold was great yesterday, everything was a walk on and the park looked great. They surprise me every year with how great of a job they do with HITP. JDC is also running bafflingly welll in the cold, which is awesome.
Thoughts on Toro possibly reopening this year? They’ve started to add track where they took it off. As much as I love the ride, I really hope they take their time to make sure it’s completely safe.
Definitely. I hope they actually try when they redo the Safari/Wiggles area, and don't just slap a new theme on it and call it a day. Some new flat rides would be nice.
The park has definitely been packed on weekends, if anything it makes Power Hours all the more worth it. I'm sure the park knows what they're doing making it an upcharge event, they know people will go for less wait times
Toro was HAULING tonight for Power Hours, I got 4 rides on it and got to do a bunch of the other coasters in a short amount of time. The 5 bucks was definitely worth it tbh, staying at the park till late was a plus too
Went to the Safari on opening day today. I always thought the piece of track in the baboon area came from Lightning Loops, but now i’m not sure. Anyone know which coaster it came from?
I'm so happy, I used to go through in my car all the time when I was little. I was deathly afraid of ostriches and emus. Does anyone remember the little park at the end that you could go to?
