  2. Stay tuned for a MEGA announcement taking place one week from today 😮🤔🤫

    No photo description available.
This was on Six Flags New England Facebook page, I think the new addition would be near batman the dark night because there are markers near there and the style of this photo is superhero comic, and we already know it is going to be themed to Supergirl with the 252. What makes me think it is a coaster though, is why would they say a "MEGA" announcement if it is a small thrilling flat ride, a coaster would fit that description and (This is probably not going to happen, but what if its a Mega coaster?) Also in the past 9 years, we have been getting a coaster every 2-3 years, so why stop the trend on there 150th? Also, we know there is going to be a ride relocation, but what will be moving? And will it stay in the park? There are a lot of unanswered question. We just have to wait for the 29th!
  3. "New Attraction - Rumor - (8/13/19) Six Flags New England has posted what seems to be a teaser on the theater marquee in Rockville that says “252” on the top line and then “082919” on the second line, which is the date for the chain-wide 2020 announcements. So the question is… what exactly are they hinting at with 252? Height for the new attraction perhaps? I’m thinking that is too easy a hint, and the park already has a set of S&S towers and a Sky Screamer. Maybe it could represent something else entirely. Anyone else have any ideas?" This was on screamscape. I think the 252 is height for a new coaster, probably by S&S. Besides that, I have no clue, what do you guys think?

  4. One reason that Six Flags New England would probably get a coaster is because they are announcing on the 28th of august for there 2020 new attraction. When they announce a ride early, it probably is a coaster. For example Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth came out a couple days early. I think it would go next to or in the turn around on Superman the Ride, and next to the lift hill on Batman: The Dark Knight. I know that the place near Batman is a little smaller, but that is where the launch track and the return track could be, while all the elements could be near the turn around on Superman: The Ride. I could see it themed to Wonder Woman.

i like to see rockville be broken up into 2 lands

the scream, poltergeist, and hustler become the underground with a twist and splash ride in the part of the old car driving car ride theme to the underground water company,

and rockville streets, rockville high, wonder woman, and batman become dc universe with a right stuff like ride in the old rockville high building

    I could see that

The spaces taken up by Boomerang and the Sundance Theater are both much larger than what would be needed for a flat ride.  You could put a small coaster in either spot.  The Idaho and Utah clues rule out anything made by RMC or S&S.  I think the Sundance Theater is staying because the park put a bunch of money into it last year.

    Something like this could fit:

Edit: More Fiesta Texas clues posted today.

Clue 8: Will it stay, or will it go? (Picture of Kidzopolis sign)

Clue 9: Will it stay, or will it go? (Picture of Rockville High theater)

Clue 10: Nope, not one here! (Picture of the USA with Minnesota highlighted)

Clue 11: Nope, not one here! (Picture of the USA with Oklahoma highlighted)

Clue 12: Will it stay, or will it go? (Picture of Texas Gunslinger slingshot)

”#SFFT2020 - REMINDER! One of the photos I post, will go!”

Remember though, most or all of these could be trying to throw us off. Just because Fiesta Texas needs more room doesn't mean they will be replacing the attractions you said.  So some of these clues could be invalid. I think Fiesta Texas would get D.C super friends and Bugs Bunny Boom Town replacing Kidopolis and (since they don't have another kids area) adding a kids area behind Poltergeist. I know that area is small because Fiesta Texas is landlocked, and I seen smaller kids areas. Fiesta Texas has been adding thrill rides for the past 6 years. In 2016 they added 2 family rides though, but 2 family rides in 6 years is not a lot.

Who wants to bet that the Intamin Zacspin is still leaving and "retracking" means replace with a custom S&S 4D Free Spin that is called Green Lantern?  They can market "The NEW Green Lantern" for 2020.

I think Magic Mountain should focus on flat rides because there collection isn't so great. I could see them adding a 400+ sky screamer, or even a flat ride package, with the Zamperla Endeavor like Supergirl at SF St. Louis. The Chance freestyle like Cyborg: Hyper Drive and Pandemonium(at the great escape). Maybe they would finally get a Larson Loop too! Also, the last time they added something to the kids area was 2014 and it was a new coaster! So, I could see them adding a smaller kids expansion, like flying scooters.

All I'm saying is that I dont think magic Mountain is getting a coaster two years in a row. I know it happened before with X2 and Scream, but the park needs to fill in other gaps in there lineup besides coasters!

(I say those flat rides because Six Flags has been adding those models fairly recently.)

    Why not?

Sounds like a perfect reason for an investment.

Six flags Over Texas and New Englands both last coaster was the Joker, an S&S freespin in 2017. Also, we are about equal in terms of how good the park is. Also, Over Texas, Starting at 2001, always gets a coaster every couple of years, but also, every 10 years they get a new coaster.

    (I hope that made sense)

Here's my Six Flags 2020 Predictions:

    Six Flags Magic Mountain: SkyScreamer

Six Flags Over Texas: Mack PowerSplash

    Six Flags America: Giant Discovery

Six Flags Over Georgia: 4D Free Fly Spin

Six Flags Darien Lake: Ride of Steel retheme / Kids Area Redo

Six Flags St. Louis: RMC Raptor

Six Flags New England: Water Park Expansion

Six Flags Great America: Water Park Expansion

    Six Flags Mexico: Giant Discovery

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom: Family Ride

Six Flags Fiesta Texas: Family Ride

    Frontier City: SkyScreamer

    Great Escape: Flat Ride

La Ronde: Green Lantern (retheme) from SFMM

Why would Over Texas get a new coaster and New England doesn't. Also, I don't think six flags would put all that revenue in St.louis because its one of the worst parks

I don’t think SFFT is getting a coaster, as they just got Wonder Woman two years ago. 2020 Coaster wise, (Outside of GADV) I think that SFOT and SFNE will both be getting roller coasters. SFOT I think could get a modified smaller model of the Mack Powersplash & SFNE could receive a launched coaster from either S&S or Premier.

    I agree

  11. I wouldn't trust that. Remember this picture by Jeffry Seber  (One of the head guys for Fiesta Texas)

He posted that on Social media in 2016 with a caption View Looks Good Up here 2017 is looking great.

That infers that they would get a coaster. Instead they got a waterpark expansion. Also Fiesta texas gets a coaster every 3 years exactly.

    2012: Iron Rattler

    2015: Batman

    2018: Wonder Woman

So why would now be different?

Amusement parks don't care about adding big additions for an anniversary.  SFNE will probably have a 150th anniversary celebration of some type as a marketing ploy and add a smaller addition to the park.  The anniversary markets itself.

So far, I think Over Texas, Over Georgia, La Ronde will get a coaster in 2020.  We don't mention Great Adventure in this topic because it is off topic for obvious reasons.

You think La Ronde will get a New Coaster!🤨And if Amusement Parks dont care about anniversary, then why did Over Texas get a coaster for there 50th. Also, Over Georgia got a coaster in 2018, and it isnt a top park, so it gets a coaster every 3-4 years. I think they will get a coaster in 2021 though!

  13. The way I see it, these are the odds of a Six Flags park getting a new coaster in 2020.

      Small Chance:

Discovery Kingdom 1% Reason: Getting a Coaster in 2019.

Great America 1% Reason : Getting a coaster in 2019

Great Escape 4% Reason: Probably getting a small thrill ride because they get one every 3 years.

Magic Mountain 4% Reason: Even though they got a Coaster in 2019, they could get a new coaster but it is very rare. They did it though in 2011-2012.

Frontier City 5% Reason: A small Six Flags park that just got acquired could get a new coaster? Nah.

America 5% Reason: If Cedar Point classify Rougarou as a new coaster because it changed trains, so would Six Flags.

La Ronde 6% Reason: This park is one of the worst in the chain. Do you think they would get a new coaster after a 9 year drought and there last coaster being a Vakoma SLC? Easy; no!

St. Louis 8% Reason: They haven't updated there kids rides in a long time and most of the park is just cheap thrill rides. If they get a coaster though, it would be a clone of the Joker at Great Adventure.

Has a chance, but not a big one:

Mexico 15% Reason: I think in 2021, they would get a coaster, but not 2020, because they got a coaster in 2018. But, they are trying to make SF Mexico the theme park of Mexico, so I could also see a smaller coaster, just to build up there line up.

Darien Lake 15% Reason: Even though they got a new coaster, I think they would a smaller coaster to welcome Darien Lake back in the Chain. Like a Pandemonium.

    Maybe:

Fiesta Texas 20% Reason: It is one of the top Six Flags parks and they get a coaster every 2-4 years.

Over Georgia 30% Reason: This is a perfect Park for a S and S Freespin coaster like the Joker at Great Adventure. I think this would have a higher chance of the joker going to Georgia compared to Missouri.

    Has a bigger chance:

Over Texas 40% Reason: The last coaster they got was a clone and Over Texas has been waiting for 2 years already.

New England 40% Reason: Same reason as Over Texas and it is there 150th anniversary.

    Has the best odds:

Great Adventure 70% Reason: Isn't it obvious?!

I think Six Flags should go all-out for their 60th anniversary in 2021 and give all parks new rides. The primary ones would be second-generation Condors and Enterprises as well as Tilt-a-Whirls.At one time most SF parks HAD those types of rides but were removed;if SF could stick Larson Loops in every park, why not replace former rides with updated versions?

But just like six flags over Texas, for there 50th anniversary they got the new Texas giant
