I predict that for my homepark (Six Flags America) Mind Eraser will be taken down. It's listed as SBNO for this season.
-
I wonder .... could the Pipeline style trains replace the current B&M stand up trains?

Yeah, I’m kind of over Six Flags at this point. I’m moving soon and I have all the love in the world for Great Adventure, but I’m honestly excited for my home park to not be run by Six Flags in its current state.
I'm with you on that boat too. I've been a passholder/member since 2016 and my enthusiasm has been down the last couple of years. I'm still trying to recover from all the job stress I had last year, which led to me resorting to food and gaining weight.
Even if I didn't have job stress, I feel like a change may be necessary or a break for a year.- 1

Yeah, WoF's story sound familiar-- 5 rides removed this year, some remaining rides not ready to open with the park, and disappointed guests...
What rides did WoF remove?
As for the chaperone policy, didn't Knott's Berry Farm have one? -

Wow, that's my home park (for better or worse) ....
I don't know if that means Mind Eraser will be gone for good (I'm hoping so). Sad to see the state of this park.
And I saw on their site that Superman: Ride of Steel "will be soaring later this spring".
At this point, I'm going to ride out the 2023 season and possibly switch loyalties to Hershey Park.- 1

What the hell, I'll give this a shot.
Of course, since I'll be traveling up from Maryland and staying overnight; I may not stay until 11 (mainly do the haunted houses and see that Block Party show) -
Well my home park (Six Flags America) is teasing something to be announced on the 23rd .....

Speaking of ride removals, what about the future of Twister?
If it gets removed at some point; what could be put in it's place?
The space occupied by Parachutes & Twister could be a good fit for a SkyRocket II. -

Looks like the Parachutes have been removed from the park’s website and app. If the recent chain wide ride removals are any indication, also first removed from the website, this isn’t a good sign.
If this really is the end, unfortunately it’s been a long time coming with the scarcity of parts.

Isn't it the last remaining Parachutes ride in the US?
As for other Six Flags ride removals, Mind Eraser at Six Flags America was removed from that website.
Then again, ME can be dismantled and sold for scrap for all I care. -

Can't always trust a Six Flags website since Mind Eraser, Rodeo and all of Thomas Town isn't on Six Flags America's website. But St. Louis has everything labeled as reopening 2023, and I feel Xcalibur rarely opens, it was closed when I went for a couple days in 2021 and 2022, might have hit it at the wrong time, but still it was middle of the summer.
Not that I would care if Mind Eraser was ..... erased from Six Flags America. Maybe it went to rehab ....

Bonzai Pipelines was usually SBNO the times I've gone.
I myself only did it a small number of times.
I know the land SFA occupies has some sort of nature preserve area, as well as that house (Hall Manor) in the woods behind the Wild One.
What could go there? -
Just as a joke .... call up GCI and have the pavement Titan Tracked
-
Was that picture from the Marshall Tucker Band shows in 1981?
And yeah, going up the Medusa lift hill; I take a quick peek to the right and see how ugly the Arena looks. -
When were most of the monitors removed?
-
I'm in total agreement on making use of the building year round instead of just Fright Fest season.
A simulator would be a good fit, many people would want to dip inside on a blazing hot July/August day or take refuge in the cooler early/late season weather.- 1

Hmmm .... could be they finally remove Zoomazon Falls. Or maybe they'll finally get rid of Penguin's Blizzard River. Or even better, bye bye Mind Eraser!
-
Hopefully, they've learned/improved after the HQ fiasco.
-
1. Certainly a change with people on their smartphones nowadays.
2. That picture which shows where the monitors were located; looks like that map was from 1991 or 1992. -

Make sure you budget $40 million for a Giga coaster.
1. Where would this hypothetical Giga coaster be built?
2. Who to buy it from: Intamin or B&M? -

Maybe a Grizzly re-track?
If so, Titan Track from GCI? -

The park was scheduled to be open for power hours today but double checked today and saw they cancelled today. Shame as its nicer weather today too.
Really, I just looked at their website and saw Power Hours was still on for tonight.
Anyhow, is there really a difference between Fright Fest nights and Power Hour nights?
And I'll be up there this weekend at Halloween night (and from what I've read, I'll spring for Flash passes and express maze passes on Saturday and Sunday at least) -
Was it a budgetary reason that some parks cancelled HITP this year? (still a COVID hangover I guess)
Or was HITP attendance not that great at those parks? -
Not going to lie .... than sign makes me crack up like I was 12

Expanding the waterpark based on how you're outlining it. I can dig that .... not sure what they would put there.
Perhaps those Whistlestop Park rides move to where Zoomazon Falls was.
And I wonder if Shipwreck Falls will be removed. It seems to be down quite a bit plus you know; no operations in colder weather season(s).
