Those were my go to slides when the water park was crowded. It seemed like those slides rarely had much of a wait compared to other slides.

This should be a good addition as Hershey doesn't have too many thrilling flat rides. I also wonder if it will be run like Serengeti Flyer where part of the day it's on a milder mode that doesn't go as up as high as the regular mode.

Most (or all?) of the track looks like it is in place. I couldn't get the best view because the Skyride was closed. They got a lot done in 19 days since I was last there. It also looks like Pass Member previews will be next month according to the rewards page on the website. '

Test Track is closing June 17th for a re-theme: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/epcot/test-track/ I'm hoping the new theme will be better and more like the original. It's still my favorite ride at Epcot but I don't like the current version as much with the blue lights everywhere and not much else.

Yesterday I went to Typhoon Lagoon and SeaWorld. I am in the middle of a 3 week blockout on my Disney World Annual Pass but it does not apply to the water parks. I don't think I'd want to go to the main theme parks anyway with it being Easter week and long wait times. Typhoon Lagoon was not crowded at all, I waited 5 - 10 minutes for almost everything. I prefer Blizzard Beach as Typhoon Lagoon has more slides you can't ride as a single rider like the 2 family raft slides and 2 out of 3 Crush N Gusher slides but the other slides are fun. Mayday Falls would be my favorite slide if not for the rough bumps all over the slide that I guess are supposed to be like rapids. SeaWorld had moderate crowds. With free Quick Queue Unlimited after 4 p.m., I was able to skip most of the lines. It's amazing to me they are offering that perk during a busy time of the year. In addition this month there is a free keychain, free food item at the Food and Wine Festival and a free 5th Anniversary Sesame Street Land plate. I have said it before but SEAS treats their pass holders extremely well and there are so many free items and rewards each month. Journey To Atlantis was a 50 minute wait, 10 minutes with Quick Queue. This is my current favorite water ride and it's always fun seeing how people react to the surprise roller coaster drop at the end of the ride. I rode twice and then went to Kraken. After Kraken I went to Mako for 3 rides. This was a 1 - 2 train wait even without Quick Queue. Mako is still my favorite ride in Florida. I still can't decide if I like Mako or Nitro better but they are both excellent. Ice Breaker was running 1 train with a posted 70 minute wait. The Quick Queue Unlimited didn't work here so I used my Platinum Quick Queue 1 ride pass. Ice Breaker is fun but I'm not the biggest fan of going backwards with the swing launch. New 60th Anniversary Sign The last 2 construction pictures were from 2 weeks ago. I'm really looking forward to Penguin Trek as there really isn't a family coaster in the park except Journey To Atlantis and sometimes I like to take a break from the more thrilling coasters.

I remember Platinum Flash Pass also used to give double rides. At least that was really limited.

Hopefully they get multiple trains running soon. Combined with those re-ride bracelets in use this weekend, it must have been frustrating.

Hopefully it will be an improvement for a better ride experience. Skyrush seemed to be a ride people either loved or hated with not much in between. I only rode the coaster once or twice a season despite visiting around 8 times a season between 2016 - 2019 because of how painful the restraints were.

The first track was installed today. The Sky Ride had just reopened after being closed because of the wind and the ride stopped right before this spot. After about a 15 minute delay because of technical difficulties, the ride started moving again because of and then the ride shut down for the day once everyone was unloaded from the ride. I was wondering if I was going to be able to take this picture if the ride didn't get moving again.

Opening Day for Iron Menace is May 10th. For the first time in a while, a new coaster at Dorney might have crowds with it being a Music in the Parks Day. Stinger had low waits opening weekend, I waited 10 minutes on the 2nd day it was open. Voodoo/Possessed was delayed and didn't open on time so without much notice, there weren't large crowds. Hydra's opening day was rainy and lines weren't too long.

I also never rode the coaster but remember the sound. I was standing near the ride entrance watching it shortly before it closed for good and I regret not riding it that day. I wasn't sure about the launch and the backwards cobra roll at the time as I was just starting to go on more intense coasters. That same visit was my first time riding Nitro, Batman, Medusa, Superman and Scream Machine.

The train in the first picture reminds me somewhat of the Zephyr at Dorney but with open cars.

I don't think those slides would last long today. A slide at Blizzard Beach was a little similar in causing people to get air time but it never opened to the public. They closed it when they saw that it had the potential to be dangerous during employee previews. I'm glad they are not using projection mapping on the faces like on Frozen Ever After. I also hope that with the ride opening this summer, maybe it will be on a virtual queue and Tron will be taken off and have a regular line. I rarely get to the park early enough to get a boarding group.

Probably 45 minutes or more for the more popular slides like Summit Plummet and Downhill Double Dipper. The chairlift probably was just as bad. So many slides there have 100+ steps to the top where taking the chairlift helps when going on 10 or more slides a day. My favorite slides in the back of the park, Runoff Rapids are around 125 steps to the top.

Blizzard Beach's lot was full today. I turned right around and went to Epcot instead. Even parking at Coronado Springs, I can't imagine what the lines must have been like. With the cooler temperatures this winter, I guess everyone was waiting for a warm day to visit. I also would like to see Blizzard Beach open more of the year, the past 2 years it has opened in November and then closed again in March. I only managed to get there once so far since it re-opened.

First I thought it was $1,199.99 for 2 nights and thought that sounded expensive. Then I saw that was the rate per night. I wonder if it's going to be one of those type of offers where they will discount it to make it look like it is a deal based on full price or they really expect people are going to be willing to pay those prices.

With how long it was closed, even though they kept saying it was going to reopen, I wasn’t expecting it. Besides the views of the animals, I also liked how much time it saved me. Normally I spend so much time walking from ride to ride but with it open, I was able to ride Sheikra 3 times, Iron Gwazi, Montu and Kumba once each plus the Skyride twice in just over 90 minutes.

It was strange to ride the Sky Ride at Busch Gardens Tampa today. I haven't ridden a regular sky ride with the same type of cabins at Great Adventure's Skyway anywhere else since a trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg around 20 years ago. I kept thinking when the car is going to go past the Dream Street Fountain or the Boardwalk area even though I of course knew I wasn't there.

From the way they were talking, it didn't sound like they were being sarcastic.

When riding Pirates of the Caribbean on Saturday, there was an obnoxious group riding in the same boat as me. Besides talking the entire ride and yelling, when the boat passed the main part of the ride area with all the animatronics, one of them questioned how those "robots" can run all day on batteries and how often does someone have to enter the ride area to change the batteries.
