  1. Horizons went on for a few years without sponsorship. It did mean the end of full year operations and then it closed due to a "sink hole." A new sponsor could mean improvements (Spaceship Earth) or the same old sponsor could mean disaster (Journey Into YOUR Imagination.) The ride seems popular enough to last quite a few years without "plussing."

  2. That's great that they won't be selling any parks! SFA and SFKK are nice little parks, despite what RCDB.com reveals. I worry about unused land in NJ though. GA being the worst park in 2006 wasn't a stretch. It reaffirms my faith in word of mouth. People who lived an hour away were telling me that 8 roller coasters were closed on their visits. Word traveled fast. I wish I worked with the public this past yea to hear what they were saying about the 2008 season.

  3. SFGAm has virtually the same coaster collection as SFGAdv (as the every day guest would be concerned) and 3 times as many flat rides and a free, full-scale water park. They bring in the same amount of people, but SFGAdv has a separate-gated water park and Safari.

Maybe I'm the wrong person to answer this...

In the spotlight, it said it was in a bad location. IDK, I think it's harder to find your way around Knoebels ;)

  4. If you like allot of G's, this thing is better than Max Air. And it is open more!

Good job guys! Too bad it didn't last long, but I think some of the coasters that came along since 1999 make up for the loss of this one. ;)

  5. I never found Viper, GASM or Rolling Thunder all that "painful." Viper and GASM are both forceful rides and Viper had really sharp transitions. Viper took everyone by surprise, so Viper could be considered painful: Viper

Neither Superman nor Dark Knight are bad rides. SUF is the better tourist gimmick, not my personal favorite: S.U.F.

Runaway Mine Train: front car or back car?
