The pictures of Penn were from 1975.  The black and white pictures posted in October 2014 were also from 1975.  We were all crammed into one trailer!  

We had an employee party while the Fun Olympics were set up in the Arena. One of the other clowns and I were responsible for getting some of the outfits washed for the next day. Nothing like going to a Laundromat at 2:30 in the morning in Browns Mills. Good times!

One year closer to retiring and going back to GA...

I was happy to see in the newsletter that Show Op's softball was doing good.

That sounds reasonable, but I do not remember.

Yes. It was amazing how easy the Bauer's made it seem to climb up those poles.

Not sure what the box was. It looks like the picture was taken back by tghe dressing trailer. For Spidey, while these shoes don't match. I'm not sure what would match to wear on concrete.

Another change was the Flying Bauers. The poles were moved from the Great Arena to the old entrance, so their show was right on Dream Street. The building on the left (the restrooms would be on the right) became the dressing room for the Bauers as well as the female street characters and body puppets. The male street characters were moved to under Aqua Stadium. It was not convenient, and only lasted a year.

I vaguely remember the show. Carrying the loaves across the greased pole was hilarious. I do remember having an employee party at thearea during the show’s run. Teams fromeach operation competed. Somehow, myfriend Joe and I ended up with the responsibility of getting the outfitscleaned for the next day. Nothing likebeing in a Brown’s Mills 24 hr Laundromat at 2:30 in the morning, and still showup for work at 8.

Great pics (not just because I am in some of them). I especially like the clowns in the hot air balloon basket from 1975 (I am the Toy Soldier saluting). The clown in the bottom left was a great story teller and one of the funniest people I've ever met. And, the musketeers really fit the part.

I just noticed your question from October. I think that the park was really starting to expand in 78, in addition to the music hall, we had more street characters. I also remember popping into the music hall for a quick rest in the a/c.
