RobertDavid
I think by 2024 GADV will have become a mall. Isn't it one already?

coastercrazy
By 2024 we will have 20 rollercoasters.
Gary Hill
By that year the Safari would most likely be the main focus of the whole park. Animals with be a big attraction, because there will not be many other places to actually see them like the Safari. Of course I am bias because I am in the animal business. Pineracer
2024 is only 3.5 years away now. In the past 10 years the park has: Removed a Kids Area, rethemed another Removed 2 coasters (GASM, Rolling Thunder, 3 if one counts Road Runner-but that's in storage) Added 3 coasters (Green Lantern, Joker, Jersey Devil-technically) Did a huge flat expansion (Adventure Alley) Merged the park and Safari into 1, and revered that (temporarily?) Strapped a drop tower on to Kingda Ka (I could see both lasting another decade) added and removed a Super Loop, and replaced the last of Old Country with 2 cool looking flats added a high callibur dark ride added a Christmas event We might see Road Runner reinstalled in National Park in 2021 alongside the debut of Jersey Devil, with a kids area expansion and waterslide in 2022 w/ removal of Twitser, a multi-flat ride expansion (Zamperla Endevour in Plaza Del Carnival, Twsiter replacement, Scarecrow's Barnstormer across from Sky Screamer at the side entrance to DC Universe) in 2023, and just a celebration year-possibly a new entrance and the removal of the Go-Karts and old sim building in 2024, then i'd start work on a revitalization of Boardwalk/Enchanted Forrest. If the park does eventually get a hotel, just plonk it where the gas station is-it's not like that'll ever operate again with a Wawa outside the park. You're about an hour for most of the North & Central Jersey beaches, does start to become a bit of a hike Atlantic City south though (2 hrs to the Cape May Lighthouse) if one wanted to use a potential park hotel as the base for a New Jersey park trip (2-3 days at Great Adv, a day for Keansburg and Jenkinson's, a day at Casino; Steel; and Castaway Cove [Wonderland too if one wants], move to a hotel in the Wildwoods and do a day or 2 at Morey's)
Tower
It's crazy how much things have changed in since 2009. I first got into riding rollercoasters in 2009, I was 9 then, 22 now. My hope for the 50th anniversary has always been something massive like a giga, but that's always kind of been wishful thinking with Six Flags, especially now with the new CEO supposedly wanting to take a non coaster approach with running the chain. Realistically I have no clue what's gonna happen but more than anything else I just want the park to be improved all around. If they can emulate Kings Island or something that would be perfect. I agree! I think Great Adventure may be getting something in 2024, I don't know if what the CEO said was just a teaser but it sounded like something was in the works for the anniversary. Even if it's a small thrill ride, that would be really nice!
ericthewanderer
How about for 2024 we get 3 things:1-remove the paintball building 2-new lights for the Big Wheel 3-MORE TREES!!!
Gyrotron
Here's my wildcard guess! In 2024, the chain's second B&M dive machine is added into the area where the amphitheater once stood in Frontier Adventures. It wouldn't be too shocking, considering rides that are experimented in Fiesta Texas oft make their way to Great Adventure.
EasternThrills
I’d love to see a B&M come to the park in 2024! With Adventure crossing’s speedy development, and the park’s recent (and hopefully continued) improvements to infrastructure and guest experience, a massive coaster would be great for the park’s 50th anniversary!

I prefer if they started having concerts in Northern Star again, how about the rest of the Rolling Thunder plot?

That is another option! I think a custom coaster could be squeezed into a few different locations with some creativity. Regarding the Northern Star Arena, I think it was being removed if I'm not mistaken? I remember the front being boarded up, but I don't have any further information. I mean I don't know what they're doing this offseason, but as far as I know it was still standing when the park was open last, but they did board up the front. Gyrotron
It would be nice if the Arena were to re-open, but a major roller coaster located in Frontier Adventures could add a lot of life to that area. I notice that corner of the park is usually quiet, with Medusa not getting much traffic either.
Tower
Anyone else think the 50th anniversary will just be the Nitro repaint and if I had to guess a season long summer vibes festival kind of thing? I don't exactly expect the park to really invest all that much into something super spectacular to celebrate. I hope I'm wrong though
GAcoaster
Apparently there's word of "something big" for 2024, which makes sense between the lack of investment for this year, and the competition (Dorney and Hershey) both adding new coasters either this year or next year, and it being the park's 50th. I expect news will leak soon...

GAcoaster
I have a feeling the chain wide stuff will be smaller things with just the big parks getting big investments. SFGAdv, SFMM, SFGAm, and SFOT make up a huge percentage of the chain's attendance and I'm guessing are the priority.

If I recall correctly, Coliwood Studios (enthusiast youtuber that covers GAdv) interviewed Selim not too long ago, who claimed that the 50th anniversary for GAdv would be "big", but that could mean anything. I'll be interested in seeing if anything leaks sooner or later. New attractions usually get announced during the summer right? I wasn't sure if that was something they stopped doing
Medusa42
It would be nice to see something replace the parachutes and possibly Twister. Maybe they could throw in some of the electric Go Karts that Magic Mountain and Fiesta Texas are getting as part of the improvements to that area of the park. SFOT said they are removing Harley Quinn later in the season and sending the parts here, so it sounds like Cyborg will be around for awhile. GASM
Don’t know how likely it is, but I’d love to see the museum return for the 50th anniversary. Seems like an obvious move for the park to make, but you never know with modern day Six Flags.
EasternThrills
Something I think would be awesome would be return of the signage with a new twist, showcasing different highlights of different decades of the park! They could do from the 70s to now!
Tower
Here is a video from Coliwood Studios showing some markers placed within the park, mainly in the entrance area over to the Metropolis area
