29yrswithaGApass
I was always too tall to ride this ride. I do remember watching that ride go round and round wishing I could hop on just for the Great Adventure coaster credit. It always was very popular and when they rethemed Kiddie Kingdom to Shirt Tales Land I was surprised that it had been removed.
Yoshi
It's too bad they didn't keep it a few more years, I might have been able to ride it then since it was removed before I ever went to the park. I never really had a chance to ride any kiddie coasters when I was younger since Great Adventure didn't have one in the mid to late 80's, neither did Dorney or Hershey. 29yrswithaGApass
A little hard to see but this is the only photo that I have ever seen that has the sign for Lil' Thunder in it. Hope to find a better view someday.
29yrswithaGApass
Taken in the summer of 1977, here are two views of the Screamer's train on the back half of the ride.
