Actually it was only one line of the song that used to get played in the commercials while Liza's show was on Broadway in the 70's that kept repeating: "Fairs and socials ain't no pluses, I saw more on cross-town buses brightly lit by pretty city lights." I remember that commercial (along with Chorus Line, They're Playin' Our Song and Evita) used to run during Good Morning America on WABC New York while I was getting ready for school.
