Coaster Justin
There was a typo in the spotlight: Johnny Rockets was immediately a big success in the park, drawing huge crowds of guests for the name brand food offering. The burgers, fries, onion rings and milk shakes were a hit with the teenage crowds who new the brand from their local malls. It should be knew, not new. Sorry. Up_Up_and_Away
The original structure was so much more attractive than any incarnation since... more whimsical.
ThemeParkRider
It was nice. I think they should've left it as an open structure, however, because it often gets very croweded in there.
29yrswithaGApass
This sign from 1977 caught my eye. Wagner was a juice company. I am not sure who was the manufacturer of those fruit-shaped sipper drinks.

Gingerbread FAncy presented by KFC. Yum Yum Palace featuring Dairy Queen. Best of the West presented by Smokey Bones . And one more thing were are the trees?..The place was lweasy nice quit and a good place to grab a snake and hear a little music.
29yrswithaGApass
"New" photos! Time to flash back to the mid-90's when the Great American Hamburger food stand operated near the fountain prior to Johnny Rockets setting up shop.
Yankees99
Wagner Drink Bar. The memories. That's where they sold the grape, orange, etc., drinks. Glad you found a picture of it. Very impressed.
dougdrummer
The original stone work on the front was very aesthetically pleasing. What year did JR come to GA?
