GAcoaster
I will always think of this as the Seafood House. The way it was drawn on the 80's maps always caught my eye and I found it strange that it looked so ornate on maps but was more plain in person. NOW I get it since I've seen the original Junction Inn pictures. I have to learn to trust the poster maps more...they were generally pretty accurate with details. Coaster Justin
Why was Junction Inn removed? Also did Subway sandwiches own Subway Hot Dogs?
29yrswithaGApass
Wok & Roll required expanded kitchen facilities and wanted to offer airconditioned seating, both of which could not be supported by the Junction Inn. Subway (the sandwich chain) did not operate Subway Hot Dogs.
29yrswithaGApass
The Seafood House was a restaurant that my friends and I always said we were going to eat at when we visited the park in the early '80s. My best friend and I had a goal to one day have lobster at the park but that was a stretch on a paperboy's salary! The one time he had the money the lobster tank was empty. In the end we did eat there several times but mostly settled on fried shrimp.
29yrswithaGApass
Photos of seafood at the park are few and far between but here is a vintage photo of an employee opening a clam back when the Seafood House existed.
