29yrswithaGApass
A new segment of 8mm film footage captured back in the summer of 1977 has been found! Here are some highlights! Check out the moves on the spectators marching with the parade! Vintage Great Adventure characters! A gum tree! Super Round-Up in its prime! The Flying Wave when it had its staircase platform! The entrance plaza with original fountain! A colorful Carousel canopy! And the Super Teepee! The piece ends abruptly but that's because there will be a part II (and III, IV, and V too)! Click HERE to view the classic home movie.

GAcoaster
A new segment of 8mm film footage captured back in the summer of 1977 has been found! Here are some highlights! Check out the moves on the spectators marching with the parade! That's a cool little sign for the "Moon Flume" in the shot. And it looks like one of the old ticket booths (turned information booths) behind it as well.

29yrswithaGApass
That's a cool little sign for the "Moon Flume" in the shot. But I can't figure out what it says underneath that.
GAcoaster
Yeah, I was trying to figure that out too. It looks like a directions sign since it's a distance from the ride entrance (I think). Maybe something about it being across the train tracks? It almost looks like those blue Moon Flume signs with arrows could be removed and reinserted so that the arrows pointed in the opposite direction. Maybe they rerouted the flume ride line depending upon how long it was? Maybe the lower words refer to the wait time?
