29yrswithaGApass
When this was removed it really didn't seem like a big deal but its removal was quickly followed by the playgrounds in Balin's Jungleland and now the Fun Factory in Looney Tunes Seaport. This is the first season that the park doesn't have some type of playground attraction (not counting Splash Oasis) for kids to burn off some steam. Maybe the insurance rates got too high for these types of attractions.
GAcoaster
Every play structure the park has ever had has suffered the same fate for the same reason. It always comes down to the equipment getting too hot in the sun. Even Balin's which had sun shades and lots of greenery around it still had slides that had to be closed because they baked in the sun. The SS Feathersword had no shade at all. Chiller
It looks like some parts of SS Feathersword are in front of Jolly Roger now.
The Master
I wondered where those came from. Back in my day, we just toughed out hot slides. It just seems like people keep getting stupider and wimpier.
