29yrswithaGApass Posted January 3, 2018 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2018 It is a pretty sure bet that the little stand (formerly known as the Snake Pit and later the Mad Hatter shop) across from the Autobahn bumper cars will be razed before the start of the 2018 season. To this day, this original attraction still featured some of the over-sized glass viewing windows where guests observed large snakes as part of the Happy Feeling petting area of the park. Only a portion of the building was accessible to guests since the late 1970's with the windows concealed behind a stockade fence ever since the exhibit was converted to a merchandise location in 1977. scott Posted January 3, 2018 Report Share Posted January 3, 2018 It seems like a shame that a building that has been in the park for so long has to go but that building is a mess. Pineracer Posted January 5, 2018 Report Share Posted January 5, 2018 The best Idea is to relocate Swashbuckler over there and theme it to Wonder Woman. I also said that its plausible to put a Zamperla Discovery where Panda Express, just relocate the kiddie ride there (and remove the thing next to that) to Swashbuckler's spot. Medusa42 Posted January 5, 2018 Report Share Posted January 5, 2018 I don’t see any benefit to moving Swashbuckler here when you could just build a RMC Raptor, Skywarp Eclipse, or Zamperla Giant Discovery in this space and draw more people to this section of the park. Tbone112499 Posted January 18, 2018 Report Share Posted January 18, 2018 Anyone else see the Snake Pit becoming a new store or food stand akin to Snowy's (Metro Grill) and Ice Works (Munchopolis)?
