Daved Thomson
From the picture below, can anyone guess what shop this lady worked in? I'm guessing Enchanted Forest Gifts based on what appear to be reflections of the Big Wheel and Gingerbread Fancy in the windows. 29yrswithaGApass
Good guess but not Enchanted Forest Gifts!
GAcoaster
It's a shop that was unique and I remember well while it was open (which seemed like only a few seasons).
29yrswithaGApass
The photo above was taken in front of the Beachcomber shop which was located under the Great Lake Grandstands. The shop has been closed for more than 20 years and today is home to a fake "barber shop".
GAcoaster
And, it was converted into the studio where they broadcast the audio/video throughout the park (or at least it had been that for a while). I loved the beachcomber shop. It was cool because it had a lot of things like shell sculpture and things you'd find at the boardwalk in it. It was really small and cute, and when the ski show was at the height of its popularity it seemed to do decent business.
