29yrswithaGApass
Mystery Photo #1 Anyone care to take a guess as to which ride or attraction is on the back of this flatbed truck? Only one guess at a time! (This is an old photo so don't expect another new attraction for 2008!)
JetsDevs4Lyf
My guess would be Parachuters' Perch
29yrswithaGApass
It's not from Parachuter's Perch,
J4Sing
I would go with support columns for the Scream Machine? I thought of the Sarajevo Bobsleds, but the white car looks like an 88 Skylark. Scream Machine. Edited March 21, 2008 by J4Sing
29yrswithaGApass
Another good guess but no!
J4Sing
It has to be the Shock Wave then.
29yrswithaGApass
It's not ShockWave.
Up_Up_and_Away
Ooh, I think I may know.... Is this a part that isn't visible in the completed ride?
29yrswithaGApass
This part is not visible in the completed ride.
J4Sing
Hmm. Not visible in the completed ride......possibly not in it's finished paint scheme too..... the white car could be much older than an 89, so that doesn't help. Since this is in the Goodtime Alley section,We're running out of rides for that district unless the ride in question was not in Goodtime Alley. If it was in Goodtime Alley, it must have been after the arcade fire. Unless this ride is pre-1979, I would have to go with..... The Joust-about. My final answer, Regis. 29yrswithaGApass
No, sorry, sorry, it's not the Joust-a-Bout! Don't let the Goodtime Alley posting mislead you. The only reason I put it in here was because this is just a little game that fit the theme! This ride or attraction could be anywhere in the park! GAcoaster
I'm pretty sure I know what it is (since I think I've seen a picture of it when it was installed). But I won't guess....people would think I cheated.
JetsDevs4Lyf
Thanks for the heads up on the guessing Harry he small support pieces around the cylinder are the things throwing me for a loop I must think harder on this one! Is this possibly a piece to a completed Batman: The Ride? Edited March 21, 2008 by JetsDevs4Lyf
29yrswithaGApass
If this helps, those pieces are NOT attached to the cylinder!
J4Sing
OK, I did think that it was confined to Goodtime Alley, that's why I kept naming rides from there. Does that mean I can still try? The Little Wheel? How about a "hot vs cold" clue if the named ride is within say 1/3 the park's length from the actual ride? redsoxfan0810
Maybe erUPtion?
CycloneMan
Houdini's Great Escape? Edited March 22, 2008 by CycloneMan
29yrswithaGApass
It's not from erUPtion! It's not from the Little Wheel! But it IS from Houdini's Great Escape !!! Nice work everyone !!! I did have to crop a clue or two off the photo so you didn't know the timeframe or year! Watch for photos and information on the assembly of Houdini in a future Spotlight! Hope you enjoyed the game! Watch for another one soon!
29yrswithaGApass
Mystery Photo #2 Here are some hints: - It's no longer in the park - It had nothing to do with Fright Fest Anyone know what's pictured in this photo?
redsoxfan0810
The haunted castle?
JetsDevs4Lyf
Haunted Castle was definately my first guess so I am rooting for Redsoxfan on this one. Since that guess was taken however I am going to say that it could have been scenery for a show in the Northern Arena lol.
29yrswithaGApass
Two good guesses but it is not from the Haunted Castle or scenery from a show!
J4Sing
I don't recall seeing anything like that in the Haunted Castle. HC was more gore themed than cartoonish. I think it was a small puppet theater, like the Percy Pelican show. Oops, show was ruled out before I posted. Shooting gallery? 29yrswithaGApass
It's not from the Shooting Gallery but that too is a really good guess that I wouldn't have thought of! (And hearing someone mention the PPP Puppet Show is also nice!)
J4Sing
I know I saw that Witch somewhere in the park, trying to remember....... The Fascination Parlor?
