GAcoaster Posted April 15, 2015 Report Share Posted April 15, 2015 I remember 2001 was one of those years (like this one) where it was snowy and cold right up to opening day (after a long VERY cold winter where Propsertown Lake froze over). They were doing a "Survivor" contest thing to promote the opening of Nitro (Survivor was the big new show at the time) and they had to cancel for snow and below freezing temperatures. There are so many defunct rides in this report, would anyone know why spinnaker never made it passed two seasons? 29yrswithaGApass Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2015 The Spnnaker was purchased used and it was far from reliable when it came to operations I only recall it operating once in 1999 and closed all of 2000.
