planet hollywood atlantic city

Recommended Posts

this restaurant is a mystery to me, this was at caesars, its used to be in the corner of the casino.

i believe the planet hollywood restaurant casino entertance is like the reno planet hollywood enterance from harrahs, but the enterance from the boardwalk is a gift shop

i know why planet hollywood closed was because of planet hollywood was restructing at that time from the problems they face from 1998-2000 closing locations like this, georgia, dallas, and all of its california locations.

but i made this thread for those who has remember this, has photos of it, has stuff you bought from it, and more

back to the topic, the space of planet hollywood was used for dusk nightclub (which now closed and abaonded), coastal creek bar, and 2100 lounge. but the remains of the restaurant was the blue celling and the pipe for the restaurant which got cover, but the planet hollywood restaurant casino entertance was walled off

I went to the one by my house when it opened in 1997 and didn't think it was anything special.  The food was average at best and California portion sizes don't work in the midwest.  It closed in less than two years and became a Victoria's Secret.

I completely forgot I still use that name here @harry2004, I wonder what happened to those suits. I highly doubt Hasbro has them

maybe some power rangers geek bought the suits in a auction

That's really interesting, I always wondered why that portion of Caesars was themed differently!

I'd have to think that with the recent events causing the casino to close for pretty much the first time in its life, the time for them to change it would be now or never.

With only online gaming money coming into the casino I doubt they are investing any money into unneeded renovations.

Most of the props displayed in Planet Hollywoods were replicas, not film used props.

You're probably right - and changing the area in question would provide very minimal benefit.  They didn't get a whole lot for selling off Bally's either ($25 million), so it's not like they have a ton of spare money to throw around from that.

maybe after the coronavirus caesars could redo the first gambling floor, remodeling the walls, putting a restaurant where planet hollywood and dusk is, use the keno room for a new bacchanal, retheming the wild wild west to fit with caesars theme, and put something where the poker room is, and to top it all that. turn the pier shops at caesars to forum shops of the sea
