I think Six Flags should continue to slowly improve the parks as a whole. Next year most of SF's parks are getting at least one flat ride; the year after they could add another one or add new live entertainment and upgrade park infrastructure.

As for specific parks getting specific rides in 2021,my main hope is that SFA gets new trains and a new name for their SLC.

I think Magic Mountain is a possible contender for a roller coaster in 2021. They seem to get new coasters steadily. RMC conversions that could be on the horizon are Boss at SFStL, Le Monstre at La Ronde, and Roar at SFA (not that I'm expecting any of these in 2021). I am excited to see what happens, Six Flags tends to pull some tricks out of their sleeve that are pleasantly surprising. Adirondack Outlaw for 2020 was a more thrilling addition than I would've expected for a park like Great Escape.

SFA's Mind Eraser and Bizarro are renamed Chupacabra with an all black color scheme.

I don't know the last time multiple parks got kids area expansions since 2010-2012 when they lost a bunch of IP, so if Great Adventure is getting DC Super Friends, then every other park will get flats. My coaster predictions are 2 free spins (St. Louis and Over Georgia), and a relocation of Gotham City Gauntlet to the Great Escape (with Catwoman Whip renamed Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth).

I personally feel Magic Mountain will go with a Water Coaster and a Chance Freestyle (Cyborg) in Green Lantern's spot, with enough rough for an Endevour or something later maybe

2021 - Mack Super Splash / Aquaman - Rumor - (9/16/19) While Six Flags Magic Mountain isn’t adding any new ride hardware for the 2020 season, that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from reporting on a possible concept being floated around for 2021. According to the new rumor the park may be looking to retire the Tidal Wave big-splash boat ride, and possibly replace it with another Mack Power Splash ride, assuming all goes well with the first installation at Six Flags over Texas in 2020.

Wow! If this is true, it would put to rest the theory that the only Power Splash that would appear in the chain would be Over Texas's (as a result of the nixed Six Flags Dubai). I really hope this is true, as it would implicate that the chain could be continuing this relationship with Mack Rides.

Vekoma is teasing a new version of the tilt coaster (Tilt 2.0).  Six Flags included a Tilt Coaster in the Six Flags Qiddiya (Saudi Arabia) park renderings, which is supposed to open in 2023.  I wonder if they plan to build some in North America before 2023.  Six Flags won't be able to compete with Cedar Fair's dive coaster records, but they could easily market tilt coasters as record breaking rides.

^ They can. But Cal Osha requires all kinds of extra safety measures be taken to operate rides like these. It's not worth the hassle to put one of these at SFMM.

Did Six Flags Discovery Kingdom add extra safety measure after the Wind Seeker Incident?

Don't worry possibity a new coaster will replace Tidal Wave. I bet it's RMC Raptor clone like WWGLC at SFFT for 2021.

It sounds like the Tidal Wave location is going to sit empty for a couple of years.  I think the new coaster is going to go in the large piece of land between The Boss and Catwoman Whip.

maybe move the batman themeing from studio backlot to the britannia area and retheme studio backlot to jolly roger island complete with a dinner show themed to pirates in the empire theater and a indoor coaster ike skull mountain in the old axis arcade
