29yrswithaGApass
Who remembers the various characters used over the years to measure kids' height at the park and ride entrances? Here is a look back: When the park opened, animal characters greeted children like this tiger at the entrance to the Runaway Train. By the end of the decade a clown replaced the animals on all rides - except one. The Buccaneer used a pirate cutout - In the late ‘80s, Foghorn Leghorn was used throughout the park at the rides - and Bugs Bunny was used in the main entrance to see if children were eligible for a kid's ticket. So, which do you remember and which was your favorite?
GAcoaster
The clowns were always the ones I remember (as a kid) and Foghorn Leghorn as an adult (when it no longer mattered)
The Master
I only remember the Loony Tunes character height checkers. Dorney used to have custom character height checker signs for each of their rides that matched the themes of each ride. Sadly they replaced them all with generic plain height checkers years ago. DantheWoman
Those clown and pirate signs are legit terrifying. So I'd go for Foghorn and Bugs.
