GIBBS was sent to investigate the possible purchase of the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE as a possible anti-tresspassor detterant vessel and temporary shelter for seasonal workers. The Ohio River Steamboat failed to meet his lofty standards, and remains today , a river-cruiser based in Louisville.

Someone above my paygrade had "a vision" of a Disney-Like Riverboat ride cruising along beside Rt 537 from a dock at the Best of the West... Needless to say, the alligators got that fellow one night after the Christmas Party.
