The famous NFL football player previously known in the advertising industry for his role in panty hose commercials, appeared in some Great Adventure advertising during the 1982 season.  Joe Namath appeared in a Great Adventure TV commercial promoting his performance in "A Salute to Broadway," the Americana Music Hall's summer musical production.
