IF it were a serious violation of federal Law, than the lions and tigers in the Safari should not be bred. The tigers out in California at Discovery Kingdom should not have been bred. Apparently no big cats should be bred and all be allowed to go extinct? The head trainer had facilities at his house for raising cubs, which is on Park property. It's where Kingda Ka, Kiril, and Raina were raised until they were old enough to join the older set in the main park. They had space for 2 more tigers. If she had more than that, new homes could have been found for the extra cubs or perhaps they could have gone into the Safari.
Yes, they should have been granted permission first but, they have trying for the past 3 years to get permission. Great Adventure certainly has the permits and facilities for breeding big cats, or else the cats in the Safari would not be allowed to do so. If they were truly about preservation of the tiger, why not allow them to be bred at least once? You honestly think that the people who have raised these cats since they were a few weeks old have no experience or knowledge of what they are doing?
Try getting information from those who lived and worked with these cats on a daily basis all year, not some office bound exec whose only interest is in not allowing the truth of what happened to get out to the press in order to avoid bad publicity.
