Only about 12 hours until we find of Rolling Thunder's faith, lets all hope it is staying.
-
Although it does appear that screamscape was right about the drop tower, and they started the rumors back in early 2012.
-
I saw that last week, and I think it seems very likely to happen, since the last new coaster was in 2011.
-
Thunder does not deserve to go, it is a classic, sure it may be rough, but that is what makes it a classic.
-
Ok that makes sense. Anyway, here is a picture from screamscape of El Toro without the motor.

I went to the park yesterday, and while in line for Rolling Thunder I noticed how quiet that area is without El Toro. Hopefully they get it up soon. They had a person standing there to tell people it was closed for the day, I saw people talking to her and she said she didn't have a clue why it was closed. Everyone here is more educated than she is.

Went on Rolling Thunder today, and I was thinking, "maybe it is it's time to go." But I will still be really upset if it is removed.

Probably Saturday, but both days will be crowded, but it depends on the weather. Sunday is probably wouldn't be as bad, although again, both days will be crowded if the weather is nice.

I don't think it is going to be a new coaster, as much I hope it is, I just don' think it will be. Although considering that if they don't get one it will be 3 years since they last got one, so anything is possible. It does seem they usually get one every 2 years, with the exception of a few times, so they are definitely due for a new coaster.

Right Stuff building is only thing I can think of that's big enough for two. Exploratorium could hold one but there's no queue there really.
I'm sure if it was there they would find a way to make a queue, there is probably enough room to make one.

I would have to say sometime last year in August.
-
That's a good sign, at least it actually says that they are trying to fix it.
-
Oh just tell us, I am dying to know.
-
I would definitely hope not, any other news you have found out?
-
Even though it seems pretty much obvious that they are getting rid of Rolling Thunder, I really hope they don't.
-
- I think it seems like a good idea and it would benefit the park, but the lines would be way too long. The lines get really long now, so imagine what it would be like if they got the hotel.

Yeah, the drop tower will probably be the worst addition ever. And Rolling Thunder doesn't race anymore anyway, so getting rid of one side isn't a big deal.
