Both my son and I saw Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro going at the same time this past Saturday. As far as I could tell it only happened once. I thought the State wouldn't let them operate together. Did the policy change? Maybe they were testing one or the other so rider safety was not a concern?

That's really interesting. I'd figured they'd used location services but it could be that. Check in the parking lot next time, before you enter, and we may have an answer.
As far as the rationale, no idea. My best guess would be that they're worried about deterring people from visiting on days with longer waits.
I think the app uses location services. My son was able to see the wait times in the parking lot on Sunday.

I just checked the Six Flags Great Adventure Facebook page. They have replied in the comments that the 2016 pass would be accepted:
Six Flags Great Adventure 2016 dining passes will work, 2015 dining passes expired on Sunday.

For anyone planning on going to the park this weekend, the dining pass isn't going to be able to be used.
Do you know if that is the 2015 dinning pass only? Will the 2016 pass work?

I went to the Park on Saturday night and my Membership Card must have fallen out of my pocket. Fortunately, I had scanned my card in the Six Flags App. While I can certainly use the App I would still like a physical card. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there is a fee to replace a lost card. I searched but could not find it. Does anyone know if there is a fee and how much it is?

I was at the park yesterday. It seemed like the Fender Benders' cars were running slower than usual. Did anyone else get that same sense?

No big surprise, but Great Adventure announced on their Facebook page that namtab will be from July 4 through September 7.

Any details surrounding the rumor that they are trying to hava Ka and ZuJ run independently for 2015?
My guess would be that they need to do it in the off season because they need to bring in a crane to build a "catcher" structure under Ka's track at the top.
I was wondering if there is anything new regarding this issue. The park opens in just 44 days and I haven't heard anything that this is being worked on.

Any new information on the season dinning pass? The official website now lists a deluxe dinning pass that includes lunch, dinner and a snack. Is that the same dinning plan I purchased at the end of last year?

The Hershey Park App is pretty good. It includes a GPS based map and provides wait times and closed rides.

The Hershey Park App provides up to date wait time and closed rides information. It is very useful.

Question: When did you get yours? I bought my membership (the pay a little each month) last year the end of October. I didn't realize that the membership would roll over to this year...so i purchased passes during the Labor Day sale this year. I ended up emailing them through the website and they called me back. I had to cancel my original membership, and they left my new ones (where I added 2 passes) as is. The rep told me that I should only be billed once...but when I cancelled the original membership, it said I was required to pay Sept and Oct (to make the 12 month commitment).
Just curious if your term was up when you got the new membership.
I currently have two memberships. I purchased them later in September last year. Since it is a month to month membership after the first year I assumed I would have to give 30 days notice to cancel. As it turns out, the agreement states that you have to give 45 days notice to cancel. I had to pay for an extra month on the old membership because of that extra notice. I wanted to take advantage of the season pass dining sale they had during labor day so I ended getting next years membership earlier this year. I probably paid a bit more in the end but that's what I get for not knowing the terms of the agreement. If I need to cancel again next year if one of my members want to drop out, I'll be better prepared.

Thanks for the information. Great Adventure's early entry procedure is terrible. The way they do it at SFNE so much better.

I purchased a membership last year with 8 people as part of the membership. Just like it is this year, we were upgraded to a gold membership with free season parking. However, one person in my group no longer wanted the membership. They wouldn't let me just drop the one person so I had to cancel all memberships purchased last year and then repurchase new ones this year. It is actually slightly cheaper this year so I did not mind all that much.
My question is when I processed my pass this year there is no indication that I am a Gold member on the face of the pass. I am wondering how the early entry process will work. Both at Great Adventure and SFNE a guard checked the pass to see that it said "Gold" before letting you into the park early. Is the process the same? Do I need a different Pass?
One last question. Last year's passes has our picture on it. My 10 year old son's fingerprint never gets recognized and the picture has helped us save time. Can you get a pass with a picture?

Oh well. That's what I figured. It was pretty cool to see anyway.
