It doesn't matter how long the line is, they never use more than half the cars. As for the lights, that is disappointing. IMO, it's the coolest attraction in the park at night.

In the front row, you get more hang time at the top of hills and it's generally a smoother ride. In the back row, you get pulled over the hill faster but the ride is usually rougher. The front is more exciting because you are seeing everything coming at you without a bunch of cars and heads in front of you. You should try the front row of Kingda Ka again. It seems to go by so much faster that It wasn't until the 3rd time that I new I was at the top when I actually was. The first 2 times I was at the bottom before I realized I hit the top. The front row is the best.

Does anyone know why they run so few cars on the big wheel, why they try to keep it so balanced or why the lights are never on? I miss those iconic lights. The last time I was there, they were only using 8 cars. It makes me wonder how safe the ride really is.

I saw this from the Daffy's Deep Diver. When up at the top, look to your left over the fence. I don't know what it was used for but it looks interesting.
