  1. When Medusa gets its makeover, if it is indeed renamed, will we count it on a Coaster Counter as a new credit?

I've been curious about this with a lot of rides.

For example, when Chiller was reprofiled, I personally would have counted the modification as a new coaster if I had ridden the ride's original design.

Also, if a coaster is simply renamed, does it count as a new credit?

I'm hoping someone can answer me this question, as I have been curious about the answer for some time now.

  2. ^^I think once the park goes public with the Medusa information we may all be more excited with it than we are now.

When we heard Big Wheel was getting a rehab, we were all like, Oh. Yay!

When we heard Medusa was getting a rehab, we were all like, OMG finally!

Now that the park has went public with what they are doing to Big Wheel, we're all like "OMFGZ I CAN'T WAIT I'M SO HAPPY!

Imagine how we'll react when they go public with Medusa.

  3. I always notice that! Right after the Hammerhead turn, either before or after the following hill, I forget, there is an old fire truck parked at the edge of the woods. It has old wooden panels, an old worn out hose, and a rusting red paint job. It's really cool to see!

And while we're on the subject of things by Nitro, does anyone ever notice the grazing deer in the morning? I'll never forget seeing them in the middle of the helix. It was so cool to watch them graze unphased!

  4. Would you believe I've never been in the water park? I've driven past it once or twice, but your clue gave it away:

QUOTE Not the Oasis. The photos don't have to be from just the theme park. They only have to be something that is viewable from a public area (not in an employee area).

Anyway, I finally get to take this topic back!

  5. I would definitely go! I'll never forget one morning of April 2007, my friend and I went on Batman. Sky was overcast, and it was freezing out. We rode the ride, all was good, and when we got off, it was SNOWING. Not full blown blizzard, but it snowed. It only lasted for a few minutes, but I'll never forget being at the park in the snow. It was unforgettable.

  6. Josh Davidson if you're reading this... when I was redesigning my old website, my number one priority was sending my chief editor hourly updates of park crowds and ride closures.

Get enough representatives to go to the park on a daily (or as close to daily) basis, and use the new Cyber Cafes to update gadv.com!

You can get creative with a meter showing how crowded the park is, and a current ride closures list.

  7. Cyber-Cafe? Please explain.

From the Six Flags Magic Mountain website's description:

Offering a variety of sandwiches, fresh fruits (seasonal). Dippin’ Dots ice cream and other mouth-watering desserts. Plus espressos, cappuccinos and lattes, as well as soft drinks, coffee and hot chocolate.

And they also have computers with free internet access. It's pretty cool for a park to have that. We can do our PTR's straight from the park at the end of the night with a tall cup of coffee!
