  1. ^ That doesn't bother me, I'm a Seahawks fan!
  2. It's very good to hear that they do plan on replacing the removed rides "In due time." I just hope that isn't too far away!
  3. ^ You were there? What's a Rangers fan doing at a hockey game in Florida?
  4. There was certainly a huge spike from the '99 season because of the war on lines! Also it's no surprise that the ridership of adult rides has dipped beneath that of kiddie rides, thanks to massive amounts of removals and additions in each department!
  5. The swings are staples at any park, I'd absolutely hate to see those go. It's like the Ferris Wheel that was taken out of SFNE, it just isn't right without them. To me every park needs a wheel, swings and bumper cars, I mean how many parks doesn't have those?
  6. NO! I want you to to cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with this HERRING!! NI! EEEEEPAUM!
  7. That's a toughy, but I'll go with a loaded baked potato. Hurricane Harbor or Wild Safari?
  8. It's very understandable why they're removing the rides, but not to put in even one new ride to replace any of them is getting to be a problem. The park is nearly just coasters and kiddy rides.
  9. If replacements don't come soon, I might punch someone.... I don't think removing/shutting down a crapload of rides enhances anyones experience, it pisses more people off.
  10. With how beautiful that park is in the normal season, It would be very nice to be there if it had a fresh blanket of snow! It's such a great park to do such an event at because even if it's too cold for rides, there are so many other things to do.
  11. I've only been to New England and Great Adventure. I hope to visit many more soon!
  12. The discounted/free friend coupons and discounted merchandise coupons are all I ever use. I might throw in a game here or there, but that's it.
  13. Bruins pulled it out! Thank you Tim Thomas!
  14. Anyone would really enjoy the park, it's just a matter of excitement like JetsDevs said. It would be a very enjoyable day to have, but the thrill and excitement factor that brings in most guests just wouldn't be there. I would certainly enjoy it very much, but not quite as much as the park today.
  15. ^ That's true, our two local Six Flags parks are both situated right next to large water bodies, Prospertown Lake and the Connecticut River. Sure makes for some interesting flood situations, but are there many other weather stories out there not pertaining to rain?
  16. That was the storm! We had to keep close tabs on whether the park was actually going to open, because it closed down when it was actually raining. Practically every small stream in the area could be classified as a river after that storm!
