  1. QUOTE(warnerleroy @ Jun 14 2009, 07:06 PM) There are 4 count them 4 new surprises on the Dark Knight that weren't there just a few week before. If you want to spoil the surprise, they are

1.Before the lift hill, in the dark, it seems like there are a few props that look like a bomb and some other things. I could be wrong, because I may have just mistake some employees' stuff

    2. During the break run, there IS a bat signal being lit

    3. At the brake run, there is also a new loud fog horn sound effect

    4. After the effect, a subway car wih the Joker and one of his goones comes out at you. Look to the right, it's easy to miss.

the last one is NOT easy to miss. It hard to miss. It's great, though.

(Why I am posting on this old calender?)

  2. I could care less if Houdini opens again, having rides SBNO isn't my favorite thing, but I work at the park so it's not a big deal since I rarely get a chance or feel like actually being in the park as a guest.

Well that's all fine but you shouldn't put down people who want Houdini open just because you don't care about it. Not everyone here works at the park, many people want the best for the park, which I'm sure you do also as an employee. Do you plan on joining the group?

  3. ^ No, I know all about him.... he's tried to sign up here many times. I just think the whole CLAWS/Lady in the Lake deal is a little bizarre.

Si si. His "Lady of the Lake" story which, by the way, he's already working with Six Flags on ;) , is the same exact story as "Princess in the Frog". Same setting (both place and time), except he changed the villains name and she gets turned into a mermaid instead of a frog. WOW.

He also had CLAWS: The Musical for Showcase Theater (Six Flags gave him permission to use it ;) ), a musical about how Dr. claws lives in the Philadephia Sewers, likes someone's voice, and kills lots of people. A ) way to steal Phantom of the Opera's story and B ) that's not exactly family friendly.....

Not to mention that someone's just not telling the truth.

  4. Congrats, you now spam every website more than Claws guy now.

Well, I'm sorry if I'm annoying you. But I really want Houdini to be open. And there are a few differences between what he's doing and what I'm doing.

A ) I'm not the only one who likes this idea, as demonstrated by the 350+ members in the Houdini group on Facebook. I'm pretty sure he was the only one who liked his idea.

B ) I'm not the only one doing this - people are posting threads and items like this on lots of GADV and other theme park websites in an effort to spread the word.

If you want to see Houdini running again, I'd suggest that you post the link a few places as well.

  5. If you want to show your support for the reopening of Houdini, and have a Facebook, you should join this group. It currently has 200+ members, and we need even more to impress Six Flags. The group was featured on Screamscape twice, and it went from having 35 to 111 in the matter of a school day, and went from 111 to over 200 that night. I expect even more tonight now that its on Screamscape again, and the wave caused by this should keep the group growing for a while. Here's the link:

  6. I guess we all know this by now, but if we don't, Houdini is officially closed. The signs are taken down, and all decoration except for the signs on the side of the house advertising Houdini.

There is a Henna Tattoo stand in front of the building, and Mr. Six takes pictures in front of the house. So now I guess all it is now is Mr. Six's house. The good thing is - they haven't completely removed it, so it could open for 2010, as long as they're still taking good care of it.

  7. Hmmmm... $50 million...?

First off, paint that skyline in Dark Knight.

    Reopen Houdini

    A. Retheme Nitro's station, it's so boring.

    B. Add a soundtrack to the lifthill of Nitro, with suspensful music

Get RID of Great American Scream Machine, sell the metal for scrap, and build a stand-up coaster BUT keep the same station, I like the station.

Build a Looney Tunes themed boat dark ride or maybe not a boat, that went through famous scenes in the cartoons.

Retrack Rolling Thunder, I heard they did that to Hurler and it got a lot smoother... and give it a new coat of paint because it looks horrible.

Add more theming elements to Boardwalk (make it more like Hershey's Boardwalk, with postcards from real boardwalks, seagull sounds, etc.)

Build a dark ride (like a haunted house ride)... they really need one, or maybe even two. It doesn't have to be Disney-amazing, just like stuff you would find on the Boardwalk on the shore... with cool stunts and stuff.
