The weather wasn't the greatest (as usual), but everything looked very Fall-like and the rides were humming! Here are some photos from tonight. To see more check out my 29yrswithaGApass 2009 Visits album. Promotional ads for the 2010 season... where did 2009 go so fast? The Parachutes stands tall once again with a fresh new look. SIX FLAGS is now painted on both the park and parking lot sides! Halloween themed planters are located near the Twister ride. The Fort looked good at sunset... From the Western Bridge, the colorful foliage was very picturesque. The Saw Mill Log-less Flume was dry and without boats. The Lake Front Graveyard is now a bit longer with traffic redirected to the lower lake level walkway and then back up. Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train now has a queue - 10 years in the making! Variety! The Buccaneer lights caught my eye tonight. They looked fantastic against the gray Fall sky. It was nice to see that when they reinstalled all the signage back onto Houdini they also put the street address back up too! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CycloneMan Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 I must say, I'm totally in love with the Parachute. It took Blackbeard 6 years to get a sign, and 10 years for a queue. That's pretty funny. I'm so excited that Houdini has reopened. And I'm totally bummed I'm missing GA this fall....and the fact that I'm missing Fall. Nov. 1 will be the saddest day of my life.... Yeah true,but think only what 4 months of off season this winter!And it will be even better once you start because you will be in Rides Jon!
