Six Flags 98

Recommended Posts

In March 98 (I say that cause Premier purchased Six Flags on April 1, 98) Six Flags had 11-12 properties. My question to each of you is that if you became the CEO of Six Flags and didn't sell the Premier, what properties would you have purchased/built and what properties would you have disposed of?

Original 98 Properties

  • 1961 : Six Flags Over Texas
  • 1967 : Six Flags Over Georgia
  • 1971 : Six Flags St. Louis
  • 1975 : Six Flags Astroworld
  • 1977 : Six Flags Great Adventure
  • 1979 : Six Flags Magic Mountain
  • 1984 : Six Flags Great America
  • 1996 : Six Flags Fiesta Texas
  • 1977 : Six Flags Wild Safari Animal Park
  • 1983 : Six Flags Waterworld, Houston
  • 1995 : Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, TX
  • 1995 : Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, LA

For me, I would've purchased

  • 1999: Splashtown in Houston, Texas
  • 2000 : NEW Waterpark in Jackson, NJ (Next to SFGAdv)
  • 2001 : NEW Waterpark in Gurnee, IL (Next to SFGAm)
  • 2002 : NEW Waterpark in Austell, GA (Next to SFOG)
  • 2003 : Cypress Gardens in Florida (Renamed- SF Florida)

And I would've sold

  • Six Flags Waterworld (Removed for Astroworld Expansion)
