SFGadv123
It doesn't appear anyone made a topic for this, surprisingly. Here it is. http://www.goldenticketawards.com/and-the-winner-is Millennium Force once again wins top steel coaster. El Toro knocked out of 1st by Boulder Dash. Nitro dropped to 4th. Cedar Point wins Best Amusement Park. (no surprise) Any thoughts on what should have won that didn't? It is a bit disappointing that El Toro was only 1st for a year, but oh well. sixflagsdude101
cant believe el toro lost to boulder dash.... again, fanboys take control and vote the wrong coasters.
RideOfSteel
I'm hoping to get to Lake Compounce next May to ride Boulder Dash... Then I will have ridden the top three wooden coasters! I don't agree with Bizarro though. It's still a very good ride, but I feel there are far better coasters out there. I could have just ridden it on a bad day though... cant believe el toro lost to boulder dash.... again, fanboys take control and vote the wrong coasters. Just wondering... What is your opinion on Boulder Dash? Was it rough?
SFGadv123
I've never ridden Boulder Dash, but from the pov it does not look better than El Toro. I like how it keeps a constant fast speed, and looks like it has good airtime, but I don't think it seems as intense. As much as I would love to go there, I don't think it would be worth driving all the way of there to go on really just one coaster, since the others are nothing special. Boulder Dash and the Sky Ride alone are defintely worth a trip to Lake Compounce. You can easily add on the Wooden Warrior (Don't let its size fool you) and a possible venture to SFNE.
