Matt Kaiser
It only took almost a decade, but Chiller's station is finally gone, yet the observatory still remains. I'm going to wager they have something planned for that area in 2017, hence why the old queue is still there. Who knows, maybe a new addition to the old station's footprint is exactly what we need to finally re-open the Old Country area year-round. Opening that walkway for Holiday in the Park was a step in the right direction, so let's hope that more will come out of it. After Chiller's removal, the observatory was converted to an actual enclosed building. It was the Xploratorium at one point with interactive games and booths. Since then, it's been used regularly as a training classroom for employees. You may even see other uses for it in the future. As for the queue, they may have left that just because they are still planning on having the Asylum Terror Trail in that location again this year. They've stated they are considering the location for 2017, but they're not certain yet.
