TylerRRC1972
After another Night at the North Conway Grand Hotel, we left Thursday Morning July 28th and went through New Hampshire out to Maine to the Stonewall Kitchen Factory Tour and Shop in York, ME and then to the Nubble Light House. The Factory Tour was GREAT, the Shop and Café were Super Crowded, The Light House area had some amazing views. We then headed south through Maine and New Hampshire and the HORRIBLE Traffic through Massachusetts to Plymouth, MA. We stayed at The John Carver Inn, a ok hotel, the Hotel Resturant had GREAT FOOD but VERY SLOW SERVICE, We ate Dinner Thursday and Friday Night at the Surfside Smokehouse, this place is great and had the best NE Clam Chowder and Ribs I ever had. On Friday we got up and it was raining, we got to Edaville/Thomasland/Dino World at about 10:30, they opened at 10:00, it was raining lightly and we got on Free Fallin' before entering Thomas Land, there we went on Toby's Tilting Tracks and Bertie's Bus Tours. Rain started to pick up, but we got on The Diesel Derby and Sodor's Cranberry Carousel, it was now pouring but we got on The Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster and Cranky's Crane Drop. Soaked we decided to go inside to The Dockside Diner, we dried off and ate Pizza, Hot Dog and PBJ with some Drinks. We Stayed in there about a hour and went into The Sodor Shipping Company to see Sir Topham Hat. The Great thing was, in the rain there were only about 9 people in the park, once the rain stopped at about 1:00 the attandence rose to about 30 in Thomas Land. We Then did Harold's Lift Off and the Sodor Indoor Play Area, This Place was Beautiful and Clean, while inside it stopped raining. We went Back outside the TT Runaway Coaster, then Rockin' Bulstrode and back to Cranky's Crane Drop, onto Firefighting Flynn, The Sodor Windmill, backt to Berties Bus Tours and Tobys Tilting Tracks. We then went into the Knapford Gift Shop, All they had was Wooden, Take-n-Play and Trackmaster Trains, Some Clothes and Odds and Ends, but no Park Souvieniers. We went back to Edaville and went on The Drummer Boy, Samba Balloon Ride and Jet About Ride. We now went to the Ladybug Spinning Coaster, this is a nice little coaster but went around 6 times, my nephew then got on and we went around 3 times and I started feeling sick, so they stopped the ride, luckily it wasn't crowded. I got some water and felt better. We then went on The Jolly Caterpillar, The Flying Elephants, Big Eli and Finally the Thomas Train Ride, this was a nice ride around Edaville, Thomas Land, The Cranberry Bogs and also saw a new area there working on with The Kersplash Roller Coaster Flume, Go Carts and Bumper Boats. Also Late This Year or 2017 They will be opening Dickens Village and Pirate Adventure in 2017(possibly a Dark Ride). If you have a little one who likes Thomas, this place is a must for them, they will love it. We then Headed back to Plymouth and visited Plymouth Rock and The Mayflower. On Saturday we left to come back to New Jersey. Thank You, Take Care
