dougdrummer
I remember when I visited SFGA years ago, there were trams that you could take from the parking lot to the front gate. If you park way out yonder, it's a long haul to the entrance. Recently the only thing I've seen is a shuttle bus, and I believe that just connects to the drop of zone on the outskirts of the parking area. I also didn't see any "stations" in the parking lot. If they stopped the tram service, when did this occur and why? Did they figure they'd just add a preferred parking area, in which they could make more money? pashacar
Yep. They cut them to save money, so now you're forced to pay up or walk a lot.
dougdrummer
Yep. They cut them to save money, so now you're forced to pay up or walk a lot. That's what I figured. Do you know how long ago they stopped the trams? Ironically every time I've been there this year very few people paid extra for the preferred parking, despite pretty heavy crowds. And handicapped parking takes up the first 2-3 rows in that area. Does the shuttle bus also connect the amusement park with the water park? The Master
Last Tuesday, the preferred parking was pretty well filled.
Matt Kaiser
Does the shuttle bus also connect the amusement park with the water park? Yes, it does. Harry has a spot on the Features page for the Trams, but there's no spotlight yet. I believe the only other info about Trams that Harry has published is here, so I'd also like to know more about them.
Mr.Six
I don't really care for trams but I'm sure it would help in the hot weather.
