  1. Finally rode Wonder Woman last night. Other than the extremely unorganized loading system where they literally announce to everyone that its a free-for-all and that everyone needs to find a seat in 45 seconds, it is an awesome ride and awesome addition that I will probably ride every time I visit. Seats facing Nitro's lift are the money seats, indeed.
  2. I also love coasters, but I'm a huge flat rides guy myself and have loved the recent additions to the park. I love going to other parks with unique rides like Troikas and Pretty Monster. Knoebels in particular has an incredible selection of flats.
  3. July 4th's early ride time had Wonder Woman on it a few days ago. That is until I went down, so seems as though it will be closed until further notice
  4. Never realized how complex the Tron coaster track was. That looks like it'll be awesome.
  5. Anyone know if it has reopened today? Was hoping to get a ride in later this evening...
  6. This is awesome to hear that the solar panels are now finally being used. Also nice that the Hurricane Harbor lot is now covered.
  7. I'm loving how quickly these are all coming out!! Thank you for the constant updates!
  8. Really wish they could have saved this ( and the Bandstand) and placed Joker elsewhere.. But alas... the park just doesn't do shows anymore.
  9. Also, this confirms we are getting a Chop Six! Looking forward to that (hopefully) being on the Dining Plan.
  10. Extremely wishful thinking, but would love it if they replaced EL Diablo with a racing/dueling coaster as a nod to Rolling Thunder ala West Coast Racers @ Magic Mountain
  11. Great Adventure has one of the least interesting/worst park social media presence ever, so Facebook and Instagram isn't helping them much either.
  12. Every year of Holiday in the Park just keeps getting better and better as each new ride or attraction addition seems to be in the part of the park that stays open. Just think, we'll have Wonder Woman next year!
  13. Honestly, I really enjoyed this ride as it was pretty unique. While the wait times were horrendous and it really is crappy that it was designed improperly, whenever I had ridden it, I had fun. However, usually I went to this ride and Tornado first before the park got busy and both rides had an hour+ wait.
  14. I could have easily edited it that page and put that one sentence in. That sentence also doesn't have a reference, but if it has been closed most of the season then...
  15. Is there any sign ours is going? I wasn't able to make it to Hurricane Harbor this year... Was it open?
  16. ^Why you are already talking about 2020 and not excited about next year's ride is beyond me. I am extremely excited about this as I have yet to ride a Giant Discovery, and when I visited Six Flags New England this summer, their's was closed. Also, it really is awesome seeing this whole area being brought back to life. Icing on top would be a new show in either Showcase or the Stunt Arena.
  17. 1. Rides/attractions along the KingdaKa/El Toro pathway again instead of an empty (but now open!!) path. 2. A second Log Flume aka Hydro Flume 3. Constant shows in the barely used Theatres. Especially with recent investment in Movietown/Old Country, I feel as though now is the perfect time to introduce a summer show in the Showcase Theatre and The Stunt Arena. 4. Costumed superheros. Maybe it is just me, but I feel like I only see Looney Tunes walking around. Not sure if this is a thing of the past to 'bring back,' but it is definitely something the park should take advantage of. 5. Rolling Thunder 2.0
  18. Those are just rides you want to come to the park. There is nothing that hints that we will get any of them.
  19. The days it hit capacity were also the same days that massive heat wave hit the area. I'm positive that is what caused overloads of people to go there. I know on July 3rd, the dry park was not very busy at all, while I'm pretty sure Hurricane Harbor hit capacity.
  20. Anyone know if the ride is on track to open this weekend?
  21. Wow... Reminds me of Space Rings in RollerCoaster Tycoon! I don't think I have ever seen an actual picture of that type of ride/attraction/thing.
  22. For space problems, see Hangtime at Knotts that was just built and squeezed in a small footprint.
  23. That means I'm going to enjoy an empty park on Sunday!
  24. This makes me especially excited to see that the park is ~still~ taking care of and restoring the Carousel. I know this project started a while ago with some of the side panels/mirrors returning and seeing even more progress is awesome.
  25. Walking through the mazes Friday, its good to see them use more and more props and construct tiny buildings to walk through. Really adds to the atmosphere, even if not a lot of actors are located throughout the maze. Big Top Terror and Cell Block were highlight mazes for me, while Wicked Woods, Aftermath, and Bloodshed had a good use of props, but very little actors throughout. Overall, they seem to be stepping up their Fright Fest game. At least, in my opinion.
