A HUGE THANK-YOU to Eileen Hudziak who shared some great photos with us that were taken by her dad John Hudziak! Except for the Lightnin' Loops photos, I believe these were taken in 1977 (LL in 1978).

Thanks so much to the "Guest" who posted the wonderful set of photos of the 1976 Aqua Spectacle shows! They are excellent!

Sue Heekin was my lead when I worked daytime Parachutes. She was a lot of fun with a great sense of humor.

I was asked about this photo yesterday and to be honest it was the first time I actually looked at it. After checking some old employee handbooks I updated the dates on the caption. Unfortunately mayor Al passed away a few years back so we can check with him as to where this actually was taken.

How come Great Adventure couldn’t leave the antique cars where they were
They had to remove the Antique Cars because the main entrance was relocated to that area. Originally they were going to place it under the Log Flume on the peninsula of land which supports part of the ride but found that not to be the best choice because water often overflowed from the trough above. -
Yes, pinball machines, slot machines, and casino owners to name just a few of the components of Bally.

Shirt Tales and Pac Man were both added by the end of the 1983 season but until then several of the classic characters were still used in Kiddie Kingdom (which became Shirt Tales Land in 1984).

I don't have a picture of the Rolling Thunder sun visor.
The ghouls roamed the halls as well as remained in certain stations. Sometimes one would follow you through the entire castle with a flashlight.
