Yes it did. The footage above is from SF Great America which did not have the extended station building.

That ride is the Demon at Kings Island. It was used as early promotional footage for Lightnin Loops (even though the real LLoops is in the commerical)!

Never realized how nice the detailing was on this ride. Love the lanterns at the front of the ships.

And there were two more lanterns on the back of the ships!

The VIP Safari guide told us that this lioness is so old that her chemical balance has changed and she has taken on visual characteristics of a male.

Harry, it is now about three times the orginal size. They must of dug it really deep so it would hold water year round. Plus the elephants love to swim underwater.

It is a dryer, sort of like a huge hand dryer found in restrooms. Two were recently installed - one by the Log Flume and one by Congo Rapids.

The 1980 season was my first one as a "regular" visitor because I got my first season pass. I remember so many of these shows. That was some show lineup for so late in the season!

Medusa Dan? I've heard people say it isn't their favorite but not 'a waste'. Why don't you like it?

My family took advantage of those "After 5:00pm" offers several times, especially when the park had "Magic til Midnight".

Great shot of the ride with the "wall" still up. That is the best feature of those style rides. In my pic. from 81 you can't see if the wall is still up, does anyone know what year it came down at the park?

The wall was removed before the 1988 season as part of their park-wide review of safety opportunities. The wall made it impossible for the operator to be sure that all guests were seated before starting the ride.

The music is part of the original parade score composed by Benoit Jutras who also wrote the music for the Cirque DuSoleil show La Nouba in Walt Disney World.

Cool! I haven't seen these characters out and about yet.
