  1. They are little Shed's, and that is a Transformer box on the rt. (in the shot) side of them. They must be a part of the upgraded Power Grid around there for all the juice "Chiller" used to pull. That is about under (and beside) where the "spikes" were. That infastructure will most likely be upgraded if it does come to be. But everything is already in place to have the newer LIM's, and the much less Power they pull. Dual Launches will not be an issue anymore, the whole concept is relying on dual Launches for the timing. Just like "Twisted Colussus'" lift hill timing.

  2. It is just 2 little strand's to make the "R's" lol.

EDIT. I just realized this was a new thread, thought it was still the PTR from the other day. Thank's for making it out today, i didn't. Great pics to end a season with. And you all know what i'm thinking with the "Chiller" Station shot. It's just another thing, and this one is a little bigger than the other's as it could be the first in the Park "sign" of what's to come. It would be a big project so i'm pretty sure we will be sort of the same early timetable we had with the Lakefront Demo and "Total Mayhem".

  3. It was empty, and a really nice night at the Park. My Daughter wanted to leave sooner than i would of liked, but at least we had one more visit (i might shoot over after work on Sunday for one last quick blast on Nitro) I passed you 29yrs as we first got into the Park around 6(ish) passing by the "Big Wheel", you were talking and coughed right as i said "Har", so we missed it on the flyby lol. Was nice coming in late, they had us Park in Preferred Parking, and spot's were open in the first row behind the handicapped section. They had no one working it, and all Cars coming in late were "steered" right up front in that lot. Was a nice little "perk" for those that came in late for New Years Eve. Really nice end to a fun season.

  4. Yeah, it is down to the wire now with the Holiday. I'm going to try and slip out for one more visit, but i think my Season may finally be done. I think i got more visit's out of a Pass this year than i have in year's with the expanded calendar. I think it was a VERY eventful year, and the effect's of it will be felt for as long as trend's stay the same. We saw the "test" of the opening of Showcase for real show's again due to Guest outcry, and the Guest's responded with packed Houses for most of the Show's offered (except for a couple off days here and there and that always happens) And it's closing really strong with Jack Frost. And the Location of Showcase is really helping the making of 2017 descisions, be a little easier. "Gotham's Showcase Theater" or the "Gotham City Ampitheater" would be a theme i wouldn't mind seeing.

  5. "El Toro" was the 1st Coaster to use the pre-fab Wood Twisting Technique that RMC developed and has the patent on. RMC worked closely on the design of Toro (and T-Express) with Intamin, based on what it could do using that new technique. It was more than just the build, it couldn't of been designed the way it was without RMC's new Track twisting Process. Intamin's main "input" on "El Toro" was the Cable Lift, and the Trains. But Toro put RMC on the Map, and opened up the opportunity to see what they could do with the "Texas Giant". Fred has spoke about it in a very early interview i saw, will try and find the link again, it's been a while since saw that vid.

  6. One thing i was thinking that with "Total Mayhem" and then if the "dueler" did happen, i would say that we would climb back into the top spot for a Coaster Park again. Not only debuting the T-Rex System, but a dual circut, launched "mobius" version of that Track System would be the most cutting-edge design to come along in years. Our Park sort of started it all with RMC, i'd say even more than the "Texas Giant". Without "El Toro" there would be no "Texas Giant". To debut that System here would be fitting. But with the #'s our Park is pulling, i would not be surprised at all if it does come for 2017 along with a re-opened, and re-imagined Old Country/Movietown. And now especially with how strong Shows have been doing in Showcase, it's just another little thing all pointing to that side of the Park being next. And even with what they are spending this year on "Mayhem" and in the Harbor, they are pouring Money into our Park, and they are getting the returns for it. They will keep this streak going.

  7. Was packed yesterday. Got there at 4(ish) and then it kept filling up the closer it got to Dark. But the lines to get in were not that bad, 5min at Security. Idiot's Parked in the Handicapped section on the road along the Picnic Grove Fence, totally blocking all Shuttles from getting thru. Wish they towed them all to learn them a lesson. And they really need to get more Trains running on the Coasters. "Green Lantern" only had 1 running, and it looked like only 1, or no other Train's were in it's Garage. They may be Backstage for off-season maintinance i'm thinking?????

  8. Here is the 2016 Season T-Shirt now for sale in Main Street Market. And the Holiday Ornament's seem to be almost out of stock. The Holiday Memories Temp Shop set up in Movietown by the Firepits also has few left. But the Ride Specific (Ka, Nitro,Toro) ones are almost gone at all location's. Unless they have some more in stock not on shelves yet, get them soon before they are gone.

  9. Maybe this warm weather will make it so Total Mayhem can open early next year. I was hoping to go snowboarding a few days after Christmas at Camelback, but they didn't open yet because they can't make any snow yet and it's December!

Most Ski Resorts are sadly done for good, as is the Olympic Winter Games. Winter Sports will be a thing of the past. But the Park will be able to open year round, just too unbearably hot for it to be enjoyable during the Summer.

  10. ^^ It is because were shoved in half a park, and the discounted Passes. I'm heading out later today for my Daughters B-Day, and fearing it will be even worse with slightly warmer temps. But on the pics, always glad to see "Bagaboo" getting any kind of attention. And with the weather they are prob running ahead of where they thought they may be at this time with "Total Mayhem". A couple more week's and mayne some support's will be moved nearby the site.

  11. They would be limited with what theme's they could use for Christmas. But alot of the "classics" are public domain now also. The Reindeer names for instance (except Rudolph) i'm pretty sure all could be used. One thing i was thinking also, that i hope Six Flags considers testing the VR Ride system Mack has developed on the TDK. That system, and those "Mouse in a box" Coasters could really have some good possibilitys. It could be used on Skull Mountain also, but since that is pretty unique in the Chain, TDK would would be better for a rollout of it across the Park's. But then, during "Fright Fest", and "Holiday In The Park", a total re-theme, would be as simple as a software change, with a diff "experience" running in the headset. And also, as the DCCU expands, they could tie into the Movies that are coming up also. TDK could become BvS, or the "The Batman" solo film coming. But i think next year they will put alot more into HITP, with how the Weather this year has been, and with a record temp Weekend coming up, it is definetly going to be a success. And "big picture" wise, this is making the idea of going to "year-round" operations a little easier.

  12. FInally had a chance to get to "Holiday In The park" and i must say, it really came out good. The Park had that "old time" feeling i haven't felt in a long time. Maybe it was just something new, or the job they did, but it has that "larger than life" feeling again, that it has lost over the year's (that and the fact that the World got smaller, as i got bigger) But here's some shot's of the Lakefront Progress, it's really coming along fast. With the warm weather all the Grass has grown in on the Grandstand's old spot already, and you can really get a feel for what it will be like next year.

  13. I'm not talking much. But the sign Shop makes up a new Sign Overlay like the others, put string's of Light's of some kind up the lift hill Railing's, and then at the bottom of the 1st drop, some kind of lighting, and a few snow machines for a heavy "bilzzard" effect. Then just light up the Hammerhead with some red and green spotlight's some light's on the Helix, and on the Trim's, and Break Run Railing's. It would be really simple for them to do. Now if they get a little "budget" for it, get Little Spider to make like a "Snow Cavern" as a tunnel on one of the drops, that would be pushing it though. I just recieved a survey from my visit yesterday (i'll post the "Mayhem/Lakefront" progress pics) i think i know what my message will be on this one.

  14. Not sure if this has been said yet or not here, but "Holiday In The Park" is confirmed to be coming back for 2016. I was thinking next year, and i will get the idea to the Park, but slightly re-themeing the Coasters would make it a "must do" for the enthusiast. "Nitro" as a Sleigh Ride could be awesome. "Reindeer's Run" or something along those lines. Or since there is no "trademark" involved, "Nitro" as "Blitzen" coule be something too.
