With my day off, I decided to go to the park as a guest with my 4 year old cousin. Needless to say, I barely saw anything outside of my side of the park considering there is more stuff for her on our side of the park.
Park was packed! So many buses and a lot of lines though Skull's looked to be about 30 mins, Nitro's was at times at the 45 minute mark. Season pass processing was about a 20 minute wait, moving much quicker at 5:30pm than it looked like it was at 3pm. I was surprised to see ads on Batman as well for a chicken coop? I couldn't really see what company it was, but I found it quite odd to be placed in Batman.
Our first ride of the day was Blackbeard's which was about a 15 minute wait, not too bad. I was surprised to see it is only going around once which I think is better because the line would get so long with two trips. Also, they weren't telling us where to go this year. Got to pick what row I wanted!
Next ride of the day was Air Jumbo which was only about a 5 minute wait. Not entirely exciting since I'm not a fan of it, but my cousin loved it as always.
Skull Mountain was my next stop without her. Smooth as it always is. The lights in the skeleton's eyes were on which is a first for me seeing them since I went on it last week. The only downside was the lack of the black light on the first drop.
With a few rides done and having not ate anything all day, we made our way to Johnny Rockets which was a much faster service than I expected considering how long the line was. We followed that up with Season Pass processing at the four tents compared to Superman's. It was moving fairly fast and the girl taking my cousin's photo was friendly despite my cousin jumping around nonstop! =P
Heading back to the other side of the park, we managed to get on Air Safari, Safari Tours, and Dark Knight. Air Safari was packed with literally every plane's row full, but one. Safari Tours was no wait with barely anyone on the cars. Dark Knight was about a 15 minute wait. As for myself, I managed to get on Nitro (twice) and Batman (twice).
Nitro was smooth on the one train though the train I went on which was a different one than the previous time, was so rough. Going down each hill really bothered my head which isn't usual for me on that ride! Both times I did the back row. Besides each bottom of the hill being incredibly bothersome on that one train, it was a smooth ride with the other train!
Batman had no line by the time I got to it and let me just say, that ride was the smoothest it has been since I probably went on it my first time way back. Not once did I feel like I would've felt on it last season (like how I felt on Nitro). The crew was rather fast there as well! Managed a ride each in the middle of the train since there was about a train wait for either the front or back.
My last rides of the night were of course, Skull Mountain. I got there with ten minutes to spare and managed two rides on it in the fifth car. Same experience before, but considering it was darker outside, the ride was darker. So, I'd say a better ride experience this time around because it honestly is better in the dark without the effects (imo).
I would've done the other side of the park, but I had her with me & got there at about 3, plus I mainly just wanted to go on Nitro and Batman
