El Diablo has been removed from the ride listing.
Good riddance.

SFA doesn't have a 4D Winged coaster. And I'd say the last big addition was *insert anything SFMM has received in the past 8 years*
Magic Mountain has to compete with Disneyland, DCA, Universal Hollywood, and Knott's Berry Farm. If course they're going to have frequent additions because it needs to stay relevant.

A splash battle or new water ride would be nice, especially with how hot the summers gave been.
I would really love to see more entertainment options in all of the show venues.

Just call the park DC Land already. The overuse of superhero IPs disappoints me as it prevents more original themes suited to their section and they keep hacking away at what was their greatest themed area in the Golden Kingdom.

I always make it out to Dorney's haunt because the quality and atmosphere is so much better. Their main problem is location, it just can't draw the same crowds as GA. Fright Fest's biggest problem is that skates by on brand recognition, they don't need to go all out to make money, they just need to make it "good enough" and the crowds will continue to come in droves.

WE GET IT ALREADY

Yeah, Cedar Fair is much better than Six Flags in my opinion. Cedar Fair actually cares about a lot of their parks. All of their parks (well most of them) get a good coaster every few years. Six Flags, although they do add something to each of their parks every year, well, there have been many parks these past few years that haven't gotten even a single thing notable. (Ex. Six Flags St Louis, Six Flags La Ronde)
Dorney Park? Michigan's Adventure? They CLOSED Geauga Lake.
They're just as bad, dude

No no, keep it going

Does anybody else feel lakefront could be turned into a decent themed section for next year along with the new attraction? Seems like a lot of space to really bring to life if done correctly.

I went on a Windseeker at King's Dominion and I much prefer starflyers, you feel much more open and free.

Everyone take a deep breath and chill. We'll get whatever we get and then can judge it once we know the specifics.

^I actually saw that. lol Are you from the future?
No, I'm from 2015 just like you....
Do you see?

Hey, I once predicted Chang as an April Fools joke on GAdv Online, and then it became true. Maybe lightning will strike twice.

We don't need a giga. The first US megalite on the other hand...

I wish I would hear something about entertainment offerings. I would love something like Glow in the Park for night time. I wonder if attendance numbers stayed higher toward the end of the night because of shows like that.
I know it works for Disney, but thats because most people are staying on site at their resorts. Maybe if we finally got the hotel it would make more sense.

I'd rather them just remove it in a few years, and move it to SFStL. That's a prime spot for a Dive Machine around 2020

Actually, we'd all be happy with the Dueler.
I'm happy to get anything at all.

A free fly is something unique that only we'd have in the Northeaat. It's something you can't easily ride somewhere else and will draw crowds.
Anything that makes El Toro's line shorter I'm ok with.

There's no way the park doesn't charge extra for the Fright Fest mazes. It's their busiest time of year, leaving that much money on the table would be bad business.
This. People are still willing to pay for the trails and at this point it's been around long enough that the public has just accepted it as a part of the event now. I highly doubt we've seen the end paying as much as I hate it.

I don't think chiller is a valid argument. it was supposed to open in 97 but had issues and was pushed back till 98

^ Ka and Toro were built at a different time with a completely different management philosophy running the park. That strategy is not continued today (which could be interpreted as good and bad).
Ka and Toro were both Premier additions. Management changed hands in the middle of Toro's construction. RedZone would've axed the coaster but it had already started construction.
The chain is still recovering from the bankruptcy even though it's been years. It's hard to convince creditors to give you money for huge additions when a chapter 11 is still fresh in their minds. That's why we still see trainwraps and ads plastered everywhere. We'd need to see a huge capital injection to see the likes of Golden Kingdoms again.

The online coupon site they use doesn't have a terror trail coupon. But they'll probably still charge, it's too lucrative to give up
Wish they'd revive the hayride

The Free-Spin is honestly trash in my opinion, and I would barely consider it a roller coaster, it's more of a "Flip" coaster.
You haven't even ridden it. It could be awesome for all you know.
I thought Tempesto looked terrible at BGW and it turned out to be awesome and a lot of fun once I rode it.
Keep an open mind.

Don't rule out 2 big coasters opening back to back.
Ka(05) and Toro(06). Chiller(97) and Chiller(98).

Happy to see they went through with it! Are we the only park in the chain with a solar array now?
